Medicom Toys recently released their newest toy line and it looks like Medicom is looking to expanding their reach into the mini-action figure market. Dubbed, the “Medicom Mafex” line, Medicom is rolling out high quality six inch (one-twelfth scale) action figures that will cost you around $40. Medicom Mafex will be coming out with action figures for The Dark Knight Rises and The Amazing Spider-Man. These figure seem to have great detail and sculpting compared to action figures released by Hasbro or Mattel. It does seem like a similar action figure line to that of Max Factory’s figma and Kaiyodo’s Revoltech action figure line. It looks like maybe that the only way Medicom can survive in a one-sixth toy market dominated by Hot Toys is to go smaller. I wish you the best of luck Medicom.

High school is tough for a lot of kids. You kind of get lost in the mix with all the different personalities and cliques that you have to deal with on a daily basis. It’s pretty much social hell. What if you went to school which people that end up as some of the most notorious comic book heroes and villains of all time? Movie Clips Trailers decided to explore this idea in their newest mash-up trailer, Gotham High. I have seen a lot of “movie clip trailers” over the years, but I have to admit that Gotham High might be the most solid fan creation I have ever seen. It freakin’ works! I’m not a fan of teenage angst riddled romcoms, but I would definitely watch Gotham High.

“There’s a storm coming, Mr. Wayne. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you’re all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.” – Selina Kyle

If you’re like me, your favorite part about Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises had to be Anne Hathaway’s portrayal of Selina Kyle AKA Catwoman. While TDKR wasn’t the strongest movie in Nolan’s Batman trilogy, any scenes featuring Hathaway were very strong. Considering, many fans were insanely critical over Hathaway’s casting of Catwoman, I always believed her acting chops can pull it off. It’s safe to say that she proved me right. Well, for any fans of Hathaway’s Catwoman, you will be happy to hear that Hot Toys next amazing creation is the The Dark Knight Rises Catwoman Movie Masterpiece 1:6 scale collectible action figure. Just like Hathaway, Hot Toys did not fail to satisfy the fans!

Following the great response of The Dark Knight Rises movie and our movie-accurate collectibles, Hot Toys is proud to present the highly anticipated female character – the 1/6th scale Selina Kyle/ Catwoman Collectible Figure from this movie.
The collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Anne Hathaway as the prominent character Selina Kyle/ Catwoman, highlighting the movie-accurate head sculpt, hair implantation, highly detailed costume and accessories.

I have to say that Hot Toys’ Catwoman blows Tonner Doll’s version out of the water. I can’t wait to add this feisty beauty to my collection. Hot Toy’s Catwoman should be priced under $200 and be out early next year. Hit the jump and check out more pics!

I’m literally on the verge of crying due to happiness over how awesome this LEGO Tumbler and Bat from The Dark Knight Rises are! Instead of doing the minimum of just building a LEGO version of these vehicles, master LEGO builder and customizer, Peerk Krueger AKA mahjpa took it even further and motorized them. Instead of just setting them on your desk, you can take them out and create havoc in your neighborhood and what pretty cool is just in case something breaks, it’s an easy fix. If you’re thinking that you would never be able to create anything as cool as this, you don’t have to worry. Peerk has tutorials for sale on how to build your own at his site Vayamenda.com. Now, somebody get LEGO on the phone and get these bad ass toys made!

UMADBRO?

We all know THAT guy (or girl). That one person that is a pain in the ass to play video games with. That one person that can’t get over the fact that they suck at video games and decides to be a giant douchebag about it. That one person that shouldn’t be playing video games due to their “rage” issues. Unfortunately, for Dick Grayson, that one person is Batman. Directed by Alex Wills and Brad Hansen, The Dark Knight Rages is a short from Crave Online that illustrates why the Caped Crusader is the worst person to play video games with and a sick reminder that the Robin costume used to have nipples.

Hit the jump and rage on.

I guess Gotham is in a very forgiving mood. Seven years after Bane was imprisoned for trying to destroy Gotham City with a nuclear bomb, Bane is released back into civilization as party of the Fresh Start Initiative. How does a man such as Bane try to become a model citizen in society? One mumble at a time. By the way, this is one of the funniest shit Chris Kattan (Saturday Night Live, Night at the Roxbury) has done in years! God bless you Mr. Kattan.
