At some point, a regular toy becomes a work of art and that is the case with LEGO fanatic and builder, Brandon Griffith. Over the last few years, Brandon created an amazing LEGO chess board themed after Star Wars: Episode VI A New Hope and Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. Well, after three+ long years, his labor of love is finally complete with the release of his Return of the Jedi LEGO chess board. Even though Empire Strikes Back is my favorite Star Wars film, I have to say that this is my favorite LEGO chess board. It’s fucking beautiful for God’s sake! Scout Troopers on the Empire’s side. Disgusting little Ewoks on the Rebel’s side. I have to admit that my favorite part of the chess set has to be the board itself. Constructed out of LEGO’s Brandon created the forest of Endor as the base of this amazing chess set. It’s so fucking beautiful that I would never touch it. This belongs in a museum. On that note, if I did play with it, I would be too busy smacking the Ewoks off the board in dramatic fashion because smacking Ewoks is what I do.

Happy Star Wars Day minions! It’s a great day to be a Star Wars fan so go out there and mix it up and party hard. Go watch the ‘Avengers’, jam out to ‘The Beastie Boys’ (I will miss you MCA…), grill some steaks, empty a bottle of scotch, get into a lightsaber fight with a Zabrak or whatever. Just go and enjoy Star Wars Day! As for myself, I’m going to spend the next two days in the woods clubbing Ewoks in the head and selling their hides for some credits at the local general store. Wish me luck and “May the fourth be with you”!

Created by crafts artisan, “AidenT” this awesome stained glass window looks to be Commander Bacara of the Clone Troopers decked out in Captain Rex blue. It looks like AidenT loves his geeky stained glass windows as he features a ‘Doctor Who’ TARDIS and ‘Star Trek’ stained glass window as well in his DeviantArt gallery. I hope AidenT makes a collection of these based on Clone and Stormtroopers, especially Captain Rex!

It’s “Star Wars Day” and you are probably getting ready to make some tasty Star Wars treats today. There are plenty of cool Star Wars kitchware out there, but I have to say this Dark Side apron has to one of the coolest things I have ever seen! This awesome homemade apron was made by Amanda Linton for the Bear and Bird Gallery’s “Stitch Wars” exhibition in Lauderhill, Florida. Too bad this apron look weird on me while I’m grillin’ up some Wampa rib-eyes. Sadly, this apron is more of an exhibit piece than for everyday use so it’s not available for sale. Somebody get this most impressive apron licensed and made!

Aghhhhhhhh! This is so freakin’ beautiful that it’s making me cry tears of joy! It’s elegant, whimsical, and fucking BRILLIANT! Samantha AKA “Leeloo” (who is a fashion designer at the world famous J!NX) created this brilliant ballerina costume inspired by our favorite astromech droid, R2-D2! Dubbed, the “Artoo Tutu”, Samantha put together a stunning ensemble that is screaming Artoo from top to bottom. My favorite piece of the costume has to be the hat. It’s too cute to boot!
