The new international poster for Shane Black’s Iron Man 3 dropped and I have to say that it is GLORIOUS! We get a great look of the aftermath of The Mandarin’s attack on Tony’s Malibu home and a teaser of Tony’s drone Iron Men army. All I can say is this shit is magnificent and I want one on my wall NOW.
This is some pretty exciting news. For a while now, it has been rumored that one of Tim Burton’s projects in the works is a live action adaptation of Pinocchio for Warner Bros. He has already found great success (and great amounts of money) with Alice in Wonderland and it looks like Burton is interested in adding his unique spin to the classic story by Carlo Collodi (and made famous by Disney Animation). It is also circulating that the one and only Robert Downey Jr. is down to play Geppetto in the film. The story will follow Geppetto as he embarks on a journey to find Pinocchio after he goes missing.
Now, The Hollywood Reporter has announced that British author and screenwriter with hot pink hair, Jane Goldman has agreed to write the script for the film. If you’re not familiar with Jane Goldman, you might be familiar with her incredible work. Her work includes Neil Gaiman and director Matthew Vaughn’s Stardust, Kick-Ass, and X-Men: First Class (all films directed by Matthew Vaughn). Currently, she is on writing duty for X-Men: Days of the Future Past with Bryan Singer on the helm. It looks like Warner Bros. is assembling a talented group for this picture and if they can lock down Burton and RDJ, it could be another monster hit on Warner Bros.’s belt. I’m just surprised that this isn’t happening under Disney’s roof.
Call of Duty: Black Ops has had no problem getting big name celebrities for their TV promo spots. Everyone from comedian/late night host, Jimmy Kimmel to Los Angeles Lakers’ Kobe Bryant has starred in one of the commercials. Well, with the highly anticipated release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 coming near, TreyArch and Activision pulled out the big guns (or jet in this case) with the help of the one and only, Robert Downey Jr. in their latest promo. As usual, RDJ brings his signature charm and wit to any project he works on (even though its only a couple seconds long).

IT’S FINALLY HERE! The first trailer for Iron Man 3 is finally here and I have to say that it fucking KILLS! The first film set the bar high for any comic book movie that comes after it and the second movie failed to meet those expectations. Well, with Shane Black in the director seat now, Iron Man 3 looks to be something very special for Marvel Studio’s biggest solo hero franchise. Just when we thought that Iron Man and Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) is invincible, The Mandarin (played by Sir Ben Kingsley) shows the world he’s not.

When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?
