Yeah. This is hilarious as HELL! You have to admit that “Party Rock” by LMFAO has been the party anthem for the summer of 2011, so I can imagine why this is the best song to use to make a parody song and music video for ‘Pokemon’. Well, that is EXACTLY what Chad Nikolaus and Angie Griffin, the geeky geniuses (and real-life couple) behind “The Screen Team” (@thescreenteam) did. The best parts has to be the lyrics and any scene with Chad and Angie as Team Rocket. That shit was funny as hell. I couldn’t stop watching! It’s pretty amazing what you can do with a camera, a homemade green screen, and a lot of creativity.

It’s Friday. It’s April Fool’s Day. Why not enjoy some cool covers of theme songs from our favorite cartoons when we were kids? Thanks to Topless Robot, we are introduced to Jason Munday (@jasonmunday), Jimmy Wong (@jfwong), and Alexander Carpenter (@alexcarpenter) who boldly does the least manly thing ever. Sing the theme songs to ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’, ‘Duck Tales’, and ‘Pokemon’. I do like the cleverness of the cover and these three guys really compliment each other. I do applaude their crazy enthusiastic showmanship. My favorite has to be Alex’s (right) rendition of the Duck Tales song and his crazy animated hands. It’s almost like his arms are loaded with a six pack of Monster energy drinks. I also think it’s pretty funny that the one Asian guy in the group (Jimmy on left) is the guy singin’ the Pokemon song. I liked it! I also like the rockabilly twist on the Ninja Turtle theme song by Jason. Damn! I pretty much liked them all. Go figure.
You know what. I take it back. These guys are the three manliest men I have seen all week. People shouldn’t fuck with them. Now can I request a song? I would love to hear the theme song for ‘Darkwing Duck’, ‘Gummi Bears’, and ‘Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers’.
Hit the jump and check out Jason, Jimmy, and Alex’s awesome cover song! \m/

Awesome! Pimp My Kicks is well known for their one-of-a-kind, made to order customize kicks. So its not surprising to think that someone would want some Pokemon sneakers.
These Pokemon Pikachu Custom Nike Dunk Sneakers are simply sick. We knew they were gonna look great but they simply came out looking so much better than we initially thought they would! You can call yourself a Pokemon trainer or you may try to “catch em all” but good luck catching these Custom Sneakers because we only made one pair and they are on their way to France!
I think my favorite part of the design has to be the electric bolts shooting through the Nike logo. The only think I would have a problem with is that one of Pikachu’s ears is missing and it’s kinda botherin’ me a little bit. Either way, I can totally see the appeal in these and sadden that there was only one ever made. Pimp My Kicks also does custom designs based on what you want so if you have an idea or a design in mind, they probably can get them made with ease.
Check out PMK’s website for more info and pictures of the Nike Dunk Pikachu sneakers!

Okay, I’m man enough to say that at one point in my life, I liked ‘Pokemon’ and had a thing for Jesse from Team Rocket. So you can imagine what kind of insane flashback trip I was going though when I came across this beauty on Geekologie. Russian cosplayer extraordinaire, Ryoko-demon created what might be the greatest Team Rocket cosplay of all time. What really sets Ryoko’s cosplay from the rest would have to be the hair. Using steel wires, paper-mache, acrylic paint, and years of experience, Ryoko created a stunning wig that makes you think Jessie jumped off the screen. What makes it even better is the fact that Ryoko even took her creativity and skill further by making her own Meowth plush. Ryoko is kind enough to have a tutorial posted on her DeviantArt gallery to show how it was made so you can do it too at home. Thats pretty bad ass in my opinion.

Freakin’ awesome. When invited to a friend’s ‘Poke’mon’ themed birthday party, Betty Felon (@lesvillainettes) decided to create a handmade Snorlax bubble-dress (I’m not sure what a bubble-dress is… sorry…). Everyone loves the sleepy bastard and I can’t help, but fall in love with this design. Snorlax’s signature sleepy facial expression and enormous belly is well put together on this dress by Betty. It is quite adorable in my opinion. The poke’ball bracelet is a nice touch as well. Well done Betty! You can follow Betty’s geeky creations at her tumblr site, Fashion Tips from Comic Strips.

I take great pride in featuring really cool geek edibles. iGT has already featured geek inspired cookies, cupcakes, and cakes. Now we get the chance to feature geek bon-bons. If you don’t know what a bon-bon is, bon-bons are chocolate and truffle confections. Sweets artisan, Ana Fuji of Campinas, Brazil is well known in the flickr community of creating some deliciously geeky chocolates. Ana has the ability to mold fondant into cute miniatures of characters from Super Mario Bros., Poke’mon, and Alice in Wonderland. Best yet, all these creations are edible. I wonder if I ate the fire flower power up truffle, I would get to shoot balls of fire. Hit the jump to see Ana’s wonder creations.
