Hello, boys! Michelle Trachtenberg is all grown up!
Yeah, so based on the feedback I got from the post regarding Summer Glau’s Esquire photoshoot, I noticed ya geektroopers (both boys and girls) really like pictures of pretty girls. Go figure right? Well, to cater to the masses and to add some erotic eye candy to igeektrooper, I figure why not just bring you news regarding any new magazine photo shoots that pertains to you favorite gals from geeky tv shows and movies. You would like that wouldn’t you?
Well, up next is Buffy Summer’s little sister, Dawn who was played by Michelle Trachtenberg in Joss Whedon’s ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ television show. Well, since then, Michelle hasn’t really done anything “geeky” other than doing the voice for Valkyrie in ‘The Super Hero Squad Show’. Hopefully, she’ll make a triumphant return to a new show we can really get into. Currently, Michelle is gracing the cover of Maxim magazine this month (March 2011 issue) and by the photos in her spread, it looks like it going to get harder and harder (no pun intended) to see her as the that fourteen year old member of the “Scooby Gang”.

Forget Bella. Screw Team Edward and Jacob. I’m all about Alice Cullen. I admit it. I saw the first Twilight movie at a midnight screening. I didn’t go because I was a fanatic of the Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight saga books (never read the books), but I was curious to see what all the hype was about. I have to admit that I didn’t really like the movie much, but one thing that I did love was Ashley Greene who portrayed Alice Cullen. Ashley automatically became one of my “celebrity crushes” as soon as she appeared in the movie. I guess you can call it “love a first sight”. That might be the reason why I’m so excited to see Ashley Greene on the cover of the December 2009 issue to Maxim. Following the epic Battlestar Galactica themed cover last month featuring Tricia Helfer (Six) and Grace Park (Boomer), Maxim follows it up with a stunning cover of my favorite Cullen girl. What’s even better is that the issue will feature two different covers of Ashley Greene (one on each side). The issue will feature a deliciously sexy photo spread of Ashley, along with an interview with the starlet. Ashley explains in her interview about how much she wanted the role of Alice Cullen and the demanding physical training she needed to go through for New Moon. Unfortunately, I have to admit that Ashley Greene is the only reason that I want to go see New Moon. That and watching Edward get his ass handed to him. The December Maxim issues hits newsstands on November 17th.

Battlestar Babes. Tricia Helfer & Grace Park Set Phasers to Sexy…. (WTF!)
As long as I could remember, I’ve been collecting magazines that have featured cool covers for sci-fi or fantasy movies and televisions show. Thanks for scifiwired.com, I will be camping the local 7-11 for the November issue to Maxim magazine. Gracing the cover of Maxim will be Tricia Helfer and Grace Park of Battlestar Galactica (the newer one. If it was the original, that would be awkward as hell…). We all know that Tricia and Grace played cylon hotties, Six and Boomer (if you didn’t know, I really hate you) on BSG (thats what we cool kids call it), and even though the series came to an end this year, the lovely ladies are strutting their stuff. Battlestar Galactica was an epic story that will be a fan favorite for many years to come. I am pretty sure Tricia and Grace will have hordes of lovestruck geeks (and drooling stalkers) following them to every convention that they appear at. If its a bit odd to you for the reason why Maxim would be featuring BSG on their cover after the series ended, the reason may be because the prequel to BSG, Caprica will be premiering in 2010 (and if you didn’t know THAT, I hate you even more).
I still don’t get why Maxim used a Star Trek reference for their caption on the cover. I just don’t give a crap if you noted in perentacies. Its still stupid.
Side note: Yes. You are right. I only made this blog post so I can shamelessly put up pictures of purrdy girls. I LOVE YOU SIX!
