The Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith) and the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) takes a moment to talk a little about the onscreen chemistry between the two Doctors in the 50th anniversary Doctor Who special. It’s pretty obvious that Smith and Tennant definitely has some amazing chemistry together and I can’t wait to see them in the special!

Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special drops on November 23, 2013!

December is one of the most exciting times of the year. Not because of Christmas and presents, but because of the annual Doctor Who Christmas special! This year, The Doctor (Matt Smith) is joined Madame Vastra, her maid companion Jenny, and the infamous Sontaran commander, Strax in “The Snowmen“. Also, it will be the second appearance of The Doctor’s companion-to-be, Clara Oswin, played by the beautiful Jenna-Louise Coleman. Two sneak peeks have been released starting with the trailer for the special and a mini-sode, titled “The Great Detective” which serves as a prequel leading up to the special. From the looks of it, The Doctor is still suffering from losing Rory and Amy in “The Angels Take Manhattan” and seems to have lost the drive to help people in need. As usual, the Christmas special will serve as a great lead-in to the second half of the season and I can’t wait!

“The Snowmen” premieres on Christmas Day (December 25, 2012). Hit the jump and check out the trailer and mini-sode!

“TIME VORTEX IS HERE! Whoaaaaaa! The TARDIS is spinning!”

This is going to be a big weekend. Especially for Whovians because the seventh season of Doctor Who premieres this weekend! It’s been a while since we last saw a performance video by Karen and the Babes. This time, during a visit to Buzzfeed, Karen and the Babes (minus one “Babe”) decided to freestyle the theme song to Doctor Who. It’s is pretty obvious that the chemistry between Karen Gillan (@karengillan2) and Matt Smith is strong even off screen. Considering this will be the last season for the Ponds, it will be devastating for fans of Karen Gillan (like myself) that our special time with Amy Pond and The Doctor is coming to an end. Until Amy says farewell to her time traveling friend, we will be tuning in every week. Damn. My heart is going to break when Karen says goodbye. Sigh…

The seventh season of Doctor Who premieres on September 1st, 2012!

We have been waiting for this a long time. The trailer for the seventh season of Doctor Who just dropped and I have to say that it looks like this season is going to be wild! The Doctor is even more intense this season and Amy looks to be coming into her own. Rory is pretty much the same. This season is going to be a tear jerker for me as this is the end for the Ponds and we say goodbye to Amy and Rory. Looks like Steven Moffat is going to send the Ponds on their way with a huge bang. God, I’m going to miss Karen Gillan’s smile. I do have a question. Any poop in their pants a little when they saw the little Weeping Angel? Good times.

Season seven of Doctor Who (based on IMDB) is set to premiere August 25th 2012.

It’s on bro. It’s on like River Song. BBC just released a small teaser for the seventh season of Doctor Who featuring Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor, Karen Gillan as Amy Pond, and the other dude as Rory Williams. From the looks of it, the Doctor will be making his way all over Earth. I’m lookin’ forward to it and I reckon you are too. BTW: I know Rory is played by Arthur Darvill.

I am deeply saddened that Karen Gillan AKA Amy Pond was not coming back after next season of ‘Doctor Who’. The new season hasn’t aired yet, but BBC and Steven Moffat have already found the Doctor’s newest companion. Meet Jenna-Louise Coleman.

Producer Steven Moffat announced the actress will replace Karen Gillan’s character Amy Pond when she leaves the show in the next series.
Coleman, 25, has also appeared in Waterloo Road and Julian Fellowes’ four part mini-series Titanic.
The star said: “I am beyond excited. I can’t wait to get cracking.”
Coleman, who will make her first appearance in the Christmas special, added that she is a “huge fan” of the show.
The actress, who is from Blackpool, revealed she auditioned alongside Matt Smith, who plays the 11th Doctor.
Filming for the new series of Doctor Who began in Wales last month
“It was fun and I felt like we were in it together.”
Smith is set to return as the Time Lord in the new series of Doctor Who, which starts later this year.
“It always seems impossible when you start casting these parts, but when we saw Matt and Jenna together, we knew we had our girl. She’s funny and clever and exactly mad enough to step on board the Tardis,” Moffat said.
“It’s not often the Doctor meets someone who can talk even faster than he does, but it’s about to happen. Jenna is going to lead him his merriest dance yet. And that’s all you’re getting for now.
“Who she’s playing, how the Doctor meets her, and even where he finds her, are all part of one of the biggest mysteries the Time Lord ever encounters. Even by the Doctor’s standards, this isn’t your usual boy meets girl.”
The BBC said the Doctor will meet Coleman’s character in a “dramatic turn of events as the show builds towards its enormous, climactic 50th anniversary year”.

I have to say that Steven Moffat has a knack at finding beautiful “girl next door” type of women to become companions of the good Doctor. I have to say that Amy is my favorite companion of all time and she will always have a place in my geek heart, but DAMN! Check out Jenna’s eyes… and her other… eyes. (Sorry folks, but I’m a dude.). I wonder if the TARDIS is big enough for the Doctor and Jenna’s giant boobage. It’s going to be interesting to see how Jenna will make her way onto the TARDIS.

I don’t think anyone will ever know how much I freaked out after seeing these beauties! Amazing illustrator, Jenny Parks put together this awesome collection titled “Doctor Mew” of eleven cats dressed up as the eleven different variations of the Doctor from ‘Doctor Who’. Out of the collection, my favorite has to be the dapper Eleventh Doctor New. There is something very charming and chic about a cat with a bow tie and fez. Jenny has these amazing “Doctor Mew” illustrations available as prints and apparel at her web store!
