It seems like there is nothing you can’t do with LEGOs. MOCpages (a fan-created LEGO user group site) member, Rag naRock is an avid fan of Metal Gear Solid, LEGOs, and mecha. These three loves gave birth to two mighty fine new LEGO creations. From Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriot, Rag naRock created a Metal Gear REX and Metal Gear GEKKO robots all from LEGOs. MG GEKKO and MG REX were bio-mechanical fighting vehicle that were designed for combat by DARPA and ArmsTech Inc in the MSG video game series. Considering how bad ass REX and GEKKOS looks, you can really see that Rag naRock invested a lot of time and effort into making these designs. Fortuantely, Rag naRock is kind enough to share his building instructions as well. I’m seriously diggin’ the REX. I wonder if LEGO Snake would shit his pants after seeing these monsters of war.

In an attempt to fit “geek” into every part of our daily life, LEGO created some really bitchin’ kitchenware that is sure to be a hit with any fan LEGOs. Everything from LEGO salt and pepper shakers to LEGO ice brick trays. Theres even a LEGO rolling cookie cutter. These LEGO kitchen products were designed and created to function perfectly to fit your cooking/backing needs. Thats good to hear considering my attempt to bake a batch of brownies on a homemade LEGO baking tin didn’t end so well. The brownies were delicious, but the fire department wasn’t too happy. Go figure…

I always love it when LEGO fans makes scenes from movies and comics. Usually, you see a ton of custom LEGO Star Wars or Star Trek scenes, but Brickshelf (a custom LEGO gallery/website) member, “rebelrock” decided to take it back to 1965 and created a scene from Frank Herbert’s Dune.
The design is a bit plain, but it works brilliantly. “Rebelrock” features 3 unsuspected travelers in the desert facing the wrath of Shai-Hulud, or commonly known as “the sandworm”. Hit the jump to check out more photos of “rebelrock”’s work!
