Oh my, oh my… Oh how I love Japanese female cosplayers. Japan’s cosplay community has an insane ability to produce mind blowing hand made costumes. Japan’s cosplayers really go all out when it comes to wigs, costumes, accessories, weapons, make up, etc. Their uncanny ability to design and produce costumes based on two dimensional anime and CGI video game characters and their relentless attention to details makes cosplayers in Japan the best in the world. I guess it wasn’t a big surprise to come upon these three lovely ladies donning cosplay costumes of Vanille, Hope, and Lighting from Square Enix’s newest release epic, Final Fantasy XIII. Considering I would love to give credit where its due, I just don’t have names for these three gorgeous cosplayers. Regardless, great job ladies. (/drool)

Sea Shepard is a notorious eco-friendly terrorists that fights against Japans “scientific” whaling vessels. Sea Shepards newest addition to their eco-armada is called the “Ady Gil”. The Ady Gil is a 1.5 million dollar anti-whaling vessel that includes a ultra-futuristic sleek design equipped with carbon fiber trimaran which reinforced with kevlar (the material used for bullet proof vests) to cut through massive waves and withstand the freezing elements found in the Artic. Also, it features technology that keeps it undetectable to radar. This bad boy premiered in November 2009. Unfortunately, two months later, the Ady Gil is probably underwater.

During an operation against a Japanese whaling vessel, the Ady Gil suffered a fatal crash with a Japanese whaling ship. The crew on both ships suffered minor injuries, but the Ady Gil lost a huge part of its body in the accident. A piece about 8 foot long was broken off the front, causing the crew to jump ship. Unfortunately, during the altercation, the crew on the Japanese whaling boat laughed and heckled at the crew of the Ady Gil while pummeling them with the water cannon. Considering, due to the damage, the Ady Gil was already taking on water, it probably didn’t help that the Japanese whalers where helping to speed up the process. In mist of this accident, controversy is brewing as the Ady Gil crew claims that the Japanese vessel intentional steered their vessel to crash into the Ady Gil. Regardless, whether this was an accident or intentional, I am surprised this $1,500,000+ “stealth” boat couldn’t evade the massive whaling vessel. I’m pretty sure Hulk Hogan and “Thunder” could have. BTW… that was a reference to Hulk Hogan’s short-lived action television show “Thunder in Paradise”. Orz

If you ever have shopped in a Japanese market, you should have ran into a drink called C.C. Lemon. C.C. Lemon is a lemon-ish flavored drink made by Suntory. CC Lemon is currently the third most popular drink in Japan right behind Coca Cola and Pepsi. Apparently, since the beginning of summer, Suntory has called upon the immense popularity of The Simpson’s to be the new spokesman/mascot for CC Lemon. The Simpson’s are featured in couple commercial spots and they even have their own special limited edition bottles, drink coolers, and even a CC Lemon lunch box. The popularity of the commercials was a huge hit in Japan because now the Simpsons are better known for the commercials than they are for their animated sitcom. Animated characters pitchin’ products might not be new, but the Japanese voice over work done for the commercial are ridiculously hilarious! Congratulations Japan! You made the Simpsons funny again.

Hit the jump to check out the commercial. They are a riot!
