YAY! Another infographic! For once, I can really get into an infographic. Why you say? Well, maybe because its an infographic is a cross section of the Imperial All-Terrain, Armored Transport, also know as the AT-AT. I remember these bad ass giants when I first watched ‘Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back’ and it brought a tear to my eye when the pesky Rebel Snow Speeders (I made the mistake of thinking they were A-Wings…) started bringing them down with harpoons and tote cables. Well, considering the AT-AT’s menacing, but simple design, you wouldn’t know exactly what goes on inside those giant fortresses. Well, now you know. Everything and anything is listed on this chart. AT-AT were one of the biggest (literally) reasons behind the Empire’s win over the Rebels during the “Battle of Hoth”. Pesky Rebels…

A while back, graphic designer Joe Smith put together a pretty impressive infographic of the ‘X-Men’ universe. Everything from marital status, enemies, and even clones were put together on one simple “follow the line” family tree. Well, Joe’s follow is pretty amazing as well. Following the same idea, Joe applies his family tree design to the ‘Fantastic Four’. I love how the Yancy Street sign (representing the Yancy Street Gang) leads to “The Thing” as a nemesis. I think it is even more funnier that “The Human Torch” finds himself with a slash through his face due to his death in Fantastic Four #587. Knowing Marvel, I’m pretty sure that mark of death is just temporary. Good gawd, Galactus has a huge head in this chart!

You clever and annoying bastards! I’m pretty annoyed when I run into infographics created by random companies (in this case, carinsurance.org) to trap random people into checking out their site and services. Well, unfortunately, some of these are pretty neat and this is the case with this inforgraphic. Titled, “The Evolution of the Batmobile” this visual infographic showcases ever variant of the Dark Knight’s ride from 1941 to the present. Every Batmobile from the comic, tv series, movies, etc. is featured. I’m not an expert on Batman vehicles so I am not sure how accurate this infographic is (I don’t even recognize some of these things…), but I do congratulate carinsurance.org for suckering me into visiting their site (only so that I can save the image). The things I do for Batman. Sheesh.

I love infographics. Especially when its feature original artwork. UK artist, Bob Canada created this impressive infographic featuring all the various Doctors from the ‘Doctor Who’ series. Not only do you get a nice illustration of each Doctor, we also get a brief fun fact about each of them. I wish I had this infographic last year when I spent two hours trying to explain Doctor Who to my wife (who never got it…). A visual aid makes everything easier! Is it just me or does the Eleventh Doctor (played by Matt Smith) oddly has a huge nose and looks very sleepy in this illustration?

Graphic designer, Juan Pablo Bravo (of Chile) has taken the task of creating a visual chart of the size comparison of 250 of your favorite Disney characters. He has already done a 200 character infographic for characters from Pixar films and also a 70 character infographic for all the villains from various Disney movies. Juan’s attention to detail is epic as he created this size comparison chart in chronological order and also color coded the character based on the importance the character’s role in their respective films. On top of that, each character’s name is indicated in both English and Spanish. Not a single character was left out as the chart features characters such as Snow White to little Rhino from Bolt. The picture above is just a small sample of what Juan has created. The actual chart is HUGE and you can view it here!
