Illustrators Shy Custis and Coey Kuhn out of Colombus, Ohio seems to have an uncanny ability to make something as gruesome and terrifying as Big Daddy and Big Sister from BioShock 2 actually cute and adorable. Featured on DeviantArt, Shy and Coey (Shy does the pencil work while Coey does the coloring), has an array of illustrations of your favorite characters from various games such as Zelda Twilight Princess, Silent Hill, Left 4 Dead, etc with a cute “chibi” twist. Street Fighter? Zombies? Can you say, HELL YEAH?! Who doesn’t love a zombie mash-up with characters that they have grown to love over the years. Like a lot of ya, Street Fighter was probably one of my all time favorite games and to see these face-bashing character in a new light (or dark) is brilliant. Illustrated by 27 year old, Manuel Augusto Dischinger Moura of Brazil, Manuel (also goes by ManuHell) created these deliciously foul creations. Everyone from Guile, Blanka, Ryu, Chun-Li, and ultra-violent baddie Akuma gets the zombie makeover. Manuhell’s ability to merge the two different worlds is amazing. These Street Zombie Fighters (sounds like a pretty awesome game) looks like they can whip your ass and eat your brains after wards. So pimp.

Spiders gives me the creeps. They are creepy little buggers that crawl all over you while you sleep. I guess this is a fear that Spider-Man shares with me as well. Featured today on TeeFury is a hilarious illustration called “The Hero” which showcases a super deformed version of Spider-Man battling it out with the common household spider. Instead using his superhuman powers, Spider-Man’s weapon of choice happens to be a can of bug spray. Drawn by SWAMPFACTORY of Pixel Troopers, Spider-Man is shown giving a spider a healthy dose of aerosol death. Its pretty funny has the expression on Spider-Man’s face is in pure disgust for the very same creatures that gave him his powers. Where he got those yellow booties, we do not (or want) to know.

As always, TeeFury shirts are limited edition, only 9 bucks, and only available for 24 hours. Go get it here!

Illustrator Bobby Chiu of Imaginism Studios shows us a glimpse of what Chewbacca may have looked like during his youth. Bobby drew “Baby Chewy” during his “Chiu-Stream” sessions where he draws live on USTREAM for fans to watch online.

As a fellow illustrator, I have to say this is probably one of the most adorable pictures I have ever seen of Chewbacca. Everything is perfect, but whats up with the lunch box? How dare you…
