‘Game of Thrones’ is one of the biggest things to hit television for many (including myself). Game of Thrones is an epic fantasy series based on the books of ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ by American author George R.R. Martin. HBO has adapted the books into a ten episode (for the rookie season) series that will start airing on April 17th, 2011. The series stars the amazing Sean Bean as Eddard “Ned” Stark who is also known as the “Lord of Winterfell”. The poster titled “Winter is Coming” (also the title for the pilot episode), Ned is featured gazing into his sword “Ice” while sitting on the “Iron Throne of Westero”. Just from the look of the posters, you can find that it is going to be an amazing treat for the senses. I will be tuning in on April 3rd at 9:00 EST when the first fifteen minutes of “Winter is Coming” airs for our enjoyment on HBO. Cheers!

Sterling silver, polished steel, and dazzeling rubies. Combine to seduce and mystify…
So you’re a True Blood fan huh? Would you drop 200 bucks for some official True Blood earrings? What about over one grand for a chain necklace? Well, HBO’s licensing division and chief designer of Love, Peace, and Hope, Udi Behr thought you would.
The True Blood Jewelry Collection is inspired by the dark and sexy nature of the vampires in the HBO hit series. The new designs have been created in an edgy fusion of sterling silver, polished steel and luminous red rubies, many of which feature a patented fang-like clasp.
Marketed as high end fashion (well, with those prices it should be), the True Blood jewelry is a bit generic and has almost nothing to do with the series other than the rubies that are suppose to resemble blood droplets. It seems like HBO just wants to cash in on some suckers that love True Blood. Get it? Suckers? (silent laughter)
Now, if they named a hamburger after Sookie, I would buy that. Sookie Stackhouse Sirloin burger with bacon and sharp chedder? Me likey.
