There are people that love him. There are people that hate him. Steve Jobs is the face of Apple and he pretty much takes all the praise or criticism when it comes to Apple’s newest gadgets such as the iPhone 4 and iPad 2. So you can pretty much say that Steve Jobs is “public enemy number one” to Apple’s rivals. Well, what if they had put out a bounty on Jobs’ head and Boba Fett was sent out to capture him. Well, I’m pretty sure Boba Fett would get the job done (no pun intended) and would neatly hand over Jobs incased in carbonite. I guess this is why Greg Koenig’s “Steve Jobs in Carbonite” cracks me up. A beautiful merger between ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Apple’, this iPhone 4 case is sure to be a hit for all fans. If you aren’t into getting the iPhone case, you can also get it as a print, shirt, sticker, and more.

This is such a simple idea yet I’m freaking out about it. Japanese figure designer/manufactuer, Kotobukiya is pretty well known around the world for their pretty awesome ‘Star Wars’ toys. Well, since last year, they have been getting into making stuff that isn’t statues or model kits such as the Star Wars lightsaber chopsticks from early last year. Well, I guess it was a huge hit because Kotobukiya will now make Star Wars silicon ice trays that will produce perfect mini ice sculptures of Han Solo in Carbonite and our favorite astrometric droid, R2-D2. Simple idea right? Well, than why hasn’t anyone made it before?! These ice trays are heat and cold resistant so you can be either on Mustafar or Hoth and you won’t need to worry about these getting damaged. It’s pretty cool considering you can fill and freeze almost anything you want. You can fill them with water to make ice for your glass of scotch or fill them with fruit punch to make mini popsicles for the little ones. You can put some melted chocolate into them and make a little Artoo chocolate that you can bite into. The possibilities are endless! Koto’s Star Wars ice trays will hit the streets in July (just in time for Summer) and will cost you less than 10 credits (when I say credits, I mean dollars) each!
I hope these are out by San Diego Comic Con. It would be pretty awesome to have for a party.

I came here… on a boat. Not a dime in my po-cket.
Scar Wars.. HA! This is a mash up that causes me nothing more than insane laughter. YouTube community member, Devodana71 created this trailer for a movie called Scar Wars which is obviously a mash up of Brian De Palma’s Scarface and George Luca’s Star Wars. The mash up trailer is made of various rapid cuts of scenes from Scarface, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and others, set to the music of Scarface. That song really takes me back a bit. My favorite parts of the trailer has to be the narration and Grand Moff Tarkin. F*@kin’ cock-a-roach!

I love Star Wars merchandise. Especially Star Wars merchandise that is a mashed up with something that is iconic. One of the most iconic brands would have to be Adidas. Next year, Adidas will be releasing Star Wars themed shoes and apparel. Everything from snazzy kicks, t-shirts, and hoodies. The clothing is designed based on different signature aspects of Darth Vader, Han Solo, and the ever-so loyal Imperial Stormtroopers! Hopefully, there will be some retro-style track jackets in the future. I do love track jackets. Will I dare wear any of these cool clothes and get them dirty? HELL NO! Remember kids… even clothes can be collectible. Expect Adidas to release these in the first quarter of 2010. Hit the jump to check out a small glimpse into the Star Wars x Adidas collection.
