Whoever Modified Power Wheels community member flux83’s kid is, you are one lucky boy. Daddy just built a heavily modified Power Wheel to resemble the M12 Light Reconnaissance Vehicle AKA “The Warthog” from Microsoft/Bungie’s Halo 3. Using Mattel’s Street Scene Silverado Bling Chevy Power Wheel (geez, that was a mouth full…), flux83 did some heavy customization and fabrication on the Warthog.
Fortunately, thanks to the folks at Bungie, we’re all that much more knowledgeable about the DIY Power Wheels modder set. All it took was one M12 Light Reconnaissance Vehicle–better known as the Warthog–fashioned from the guts of a Power Wheels miniature truck–a “very used 2001 G3740 Street Scene Silverado,” according to its creator.
flux83’s Warthog may not be powered by a 12.0 L liquid-cooled hydrogen-injected ICE, but it does have a pretty bad ass mini-replica M41 Light Anti-Aircraft gun mounted on the back to chase the neighborhood cats around.
