Well, it looks like director Jon M. Chu (Step Up 3D, Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never 3D) is going to have to look for a new Baroness for “G.I. Joe 2″. Sienna Miller, who played the stunning Baroness in ‘G.I. Joe: The Rise of COBRA’ has told Britain’s Time Out magazine that during the shooting of the first film, she was very unhappy due to the reason that she felt that she compromised her own values even though she received a hefty paycheck for sporting skin-tight leather and shooting guns.

It was what it was, but I compromised my own values to a certain degree and I didn’t feel good about that.

I’m not very good at fighting. And I’m not very good at guns. And I’m not particularly aggressive. I had to wear sunglasses because every time I shot my gun I would blink. I was completely out of place, like this little midget running round in black leather winning fights, which was just absurd. They did a wondrous job with my wardrobe to make me look threatening.

G.I. Joe (was) a great pay cheque. If, financially, I’m okay – which luckily I am – there’s no point in doing stuff that’s not right for me. It’s too much time away from home.

I’m not sure what all the fuss is about considering how corny the movie was, I felt that Miller’s Baroness was one of the bright spots. I can respect the fact that she doesn’t want to be away from home, but you would think she would have known the sacrifices that must be made to be part of a huge blockbuster franchise like G.I. Joe. However, the idea of Sienna’s task of playing the role of Baroness would lead to “compromising her own values” seems a bit dramatic. Maybe she bite more than she can chew? Who knows. Only Sienna Miller would know the answer to that.

With this interview, maybe there is some truth to FusedFilm’s article regarding the recasting of Baroness and Rex Lewis AKA Cobra Commander. Sienna wasn’t happy and won’t resign and Joseph Gordon Levitt is a stud in Hollywood and is booked on multiple projects and his schedule is full. Regardless, Paramount will move on and I’m pretty sure G.I. Joe 2 will be as entertaining as the first (unless Jon Chu fucks it up…). I just pray they don’t bring back Marlon Wayans (Ripcord) because his character was terrible.

Anyone up for Kate Beckinsale as Baroness?

Today must be a “post videos” kind of day. Cha-ching Pictures asks the serious question of: “What do the members of G.I. Joe and COBRA do for fun?”

The G.I. Joes have always been considered to be formed with the “cream of the crop” from various military branches of our goverment. This special combat unit is the answer to the continuing wars against COBRA forces. Considering that the G.I. Joes are the “best of the best” and they are capable of great things, is it possible that they are capable of something equally or even more terrifying?

As Screen Junkie’s investigative journalist, Seymour Hersh has discovered, maybe it is possible that the “Joes” are no better than COBRA.

Below are some of the top secret dossiers that have been uncovered with information regarding some of our favorite “Joes”. Corruption definitely starts from the top.

In this small clip from the upcoming movie ‘G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra’, Heavy Duty (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) explains to Duke (Channing Tatum) and Ripcord (Marlon Wayans) the wonders of the Delta 6 accelerator suits. I am not sure what to think of this movie. I really turned off by the lame dialogue and the accelerator suits. However, I am still interested in the movie due to Ray Parks’ role as Snake Eyes. I have this weird feeling that I will be coming out of the theatre hating Marlon Wayans more than I do now.
