The Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith) and the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) takes a moment to talk a little about the onscreen chemistry between the two Doctors in the 50th anniversary Doctor Who special. It’s pretty obvious that Smith and Tennant definitely has some amazing chemistry together and I can’t wait to see them in the special!

Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special drops on November 23, 2013!

If you want the world to take notice of your skills as a digital artist, this just might be the way to do it. Xander David-Hugh AKA Neon Visual, an “undiscovered UK AFX artist” put together this amazing fan-made video of the iconic TARDIS opening for Doctor Who. If you follow me on Twitter, you will know my dislike for the newest version of the opening and as a fan of Doctor Who and digital art, I can’t help, but want to help spread the word about Xander’s video so that Steven Moffat and BBC takes notice of this guy’s amazing work.

The incredible baker and fondantsmith Ant at Nerdache Cakes (@NerdacheCakes) is at it again with an amazing Winnie the Pooh and Doctor Who mash-up cake. I don’t usually post geek cakes and stuff anymore because everyone is doing it, but I can’t resist the epic charm of this beautiful cake. No one would have ever thought about mashing up Winnie the Pooh and Doctor Who, but it freakin’ works! No detail was overlooked in this awesome cake. Everything from Piglet dressed as a Dalek to the fez on Tigger head to the “Hunny” jar on top of the “Polise Bocs” is sheer genius.

Hit the jump and check out this bad ass cake.

doctorwhochristmas

December is one of the most exciting times of the year. Not because of Christmas and presents, but because of the annual Doctor Who Christmas special! This year, The Doctor (Matt Smith) is joined Madame Vastra, her maid companion Jenny, and the infamous Sontaran commander, Strax in “The Snowmen“. Also, it will be the second appearance of The Doctor’s companion-to-be, Clara Oswin, played by the beautiful Jenna-Louise Coleman. Two sneak peeks have been released starting with the trailer for the special and a mini-sode, titled “The Great Detective” which serves as a prequel leading up to the special. From the looks of it, The Doctor is still suffering from losing Rory and Amy in “The Angels Take Manhattan” and seems to have lost the drive to help people in need. As usual, the Christmas special will serve as a great lead-in to the second half of the season and I can’t wait!

“The Snowmen” premieres on Christmas Day (December 25, 2012). Hit the jump and check out the trailer and mini-sode!

Oh good God… This is so awesome that it hurts my soul. If Stark Industries has any more plans on creating devastating weapons, I can imagine at this just might be one of them.

When you look back in the bowels of history, there is one battle that will never be remembered. The rap battle between The Doctor and Doc Brown. Sadly, as clever as the rap battle lyrics are, The Doctor comes off as a sleezey asshole and the Doc seems to be a bit off his rocker more than usual. They deserve better.

Hit the jump and enjoy (if you can).
