deadpoolgun

This just might be one of the weirdest and stupidest things I have ever heard and I can’t stop laughing. I’m always down for fans that make fan-made films, but I don’t like them enough to want to see a guy get shot. 23 year old, Sam Vestey and his buddies Casey May and Michael Galusick decided to film a fan-made ‘Deadpool’ film. Knowing that the “Merc with a Mouth” is huge on firearms, they decided to use a real gun. Unfortunately, one of Vestey’s dear friends dropped the gun (which was loaded with REAL FUCKING BULLETS!) and while picking it up, accidentally pulled the trigger and shot Vestey in the leg. Now, I have to stand back and find some humor in this tragic event (not really tragic, because no one died), but this is a good warning to all would-be filmmakers in the world. DO NOT USE REAL GUNS LOADED WITH REAL FUCKING BULLETS! I think the message is pretty clear.

The Ladybug Merc with a Mouth…

HA! This is pretty funny considering how simple the design and concept is. I guess sometimes less is more. Titled, “Ladypool”, graphic designer Daniel Sotomayor aka D4N13L (@D4N150T0) did a clever job of putting together this pretty funny design of Deadpool’s signature mask on a lady bug’s back. You can pick up this tee right now at redbubble for 24 bucks! Too bad the ladybug is not packin’ a machine gun in it’s little hands… (Nevermind, what do I know?…)

Get lost kid…

Those are not words that you want to yell at a kid… unless you are everyone’s favorite “merc with a mouth”, Deadpool. Marvel parodies Coca-Cola’s Super Bowl 43 commercial titled “Mean Troy”, staring Troy Polamalu of the Pittsburg Steelers. Replace the big-hair strong safety for Deadpool and you got something very special called “Mean Deadpool”. Unfortunately, there is no cheesy jingle like the original, but who cares! An stop-motion animation of an action figure Deadpool abusing little children is definitely worth the watch!

Hit the jump to check out “Mean Troy” and “Mean Deadpool”!

Twitter was buzzing all day yesterday about Walt Disney Company’s acquisition of Marvel Entertainment (actually, the news was pretty much beaten to death before noon). A lot of people were talking about their dream crossovers and duos such as “Beauty and the Hulk“, “Little Nemo & Namor“, and my choice, “Iron Man versus Gizmo Duck“. Twitter-meister @bonniegrrl (Bonnie Burton, author, sci-fi/horror geek, editor/writer at Lucasfilm) inspired me to doodle a little sketch when I saw this tweet from her:

“Can I have dibs on writing the Deadpool vs. Goofy comic?”

Here we have “The Merc Goof with a Mouth”. Goofy’s featured in Deadpool fashion. You’re not going to see many of these off-beat blog posts from me, so enjoy them while they last.
