Truly awesome. Jenny Burgesse (as known around the web as “geeksweets”) from Ontario, Canada is well known for her awesome geeky cupcake and cookies. Unlike many who just use a very “cookie-cutter” method to making a “geek treat”, Jenny’s design and execution on her baked treats are really remarkable. This is the case with her newest creations, a mean-green cookie she refers to as “The Mighty Cookthulu” or “Cutethulhu”. Any geek can tell that these cookies are based on H.P. Lovecrafts’ horror creation, the Cthulhu! I definitely think these cookies are quite cute. I love Cookthulu’s stubby like legs and beady little eyes. She crafted these monster cookies for the Game Summit Canada “ambassador meetings” which is being held in Ontario, Canada at the middle of this month. You can check out Jenny’s awesome creations at her site, geeksweets.net.

Boba Fett and green tea? Seems like a match made in color spectrum heaven. For day 3 in justJENN Recipes’ 12 days of cookies, justJENN created a delicious Boba Fett sugar cookie made with green tea. These cookies are not store bought and made from scratch. The Boba Fett helmet shapes were made using Star Wars cookie cutters that you can buy online. On top of the fact that these may be one of the coolest Star Wars cookies I have ever seen, you can use these cookies to make a small ice cream sandwich. If you want yourself some Boba Fett cookies at your holiday party, justJENN was kind enough to post her recipe on her site, justJENNrecipes.com

There is nothing more beautiful than when two things you love comes together harmoniously. In this case, Star Wars and cookies! The web is abundant with various Star Wars cookies pictures, but unfortunately most of them are lackluster in design and craftsmanship (but they do still look tasty). It takes a real artisan to be able to bring the fantastic characters of Star Wars to life in the form of little bite size morsels of happiness and love. Flickr community members/bakers, “Rosey Sugar“, “Sugar Envy“, and “Whipped Bakeshop” sets the bar when it comes to creating these delectable geek treats. Hit the jump to see their mind blowing work.

“My Artoo Cookies Brings All the the Jedis to My Yard…”

Who said you can’t eat astrometric droids? Esty community member, sugarandflour puts my wife’s cookies to shame (don’t tell her that I said that), by baking her husband scrumptiously geeky Star Wars R2-D2 sugar cookies. Great thing for us is that we do not have to commit to marriage and put up with the in-laws to eat these droid treats. sugarandflour has them on sale for 18 bucks for a 6 pack! Heres a little pitch from sugarandflour about her cookies.

My husband loves Star Wars. I suppose it was only a matter of time before I was asked to make the characters into cookies! Oh – and I made the cutter for this cookie myself, so it’s totally original. These little robot cookies are made with my absolutely perfect sugar cookie dough flavored with vanilla and almond, and frosted with vanilla/almond royal icing. R2D2 stands 5″ tall and is 3″ wide. You will receive 6 R2D2 cookies, nestled safely inside a brown kraft box tied with a satin ribbon. These would also make super party favors.

A baker of delicious geek treats and a fabricator of cookie molds?! Please marry me. Hit the jump for more pics and info about where to get them.
