It was bound to happen. Yoko Higuchi (AKA theresistancerises) put together a pretty clever fan-made trailer for Joss Whedon’s ‘The Avengers’ movie. Using various clips from trailers and movies such as, ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’, ‘Iron Man 2′, ‘The Incredible Hulk’, and ‘Thor’ Yoko made a pretty awesome trailer. If I have never seen any of those clips, I would be pretty psyched about this movie. You can always rely on the fans to have too much time on their hands and make cool stuff like this.
Hit the jump to check out Yoko’s Avenger’s trailer. BTW, the audio is not that great.

America…. America…. AMERICA! FUCK YEAH!
I love mash ups. Especially when cursing is involved. Youtuber, “CelticPredator‘ has gone and done a video where it inspires us to run into the streets and punch terrorists in the face. Combining footage from the ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ trailer from Super Bowl Sunday to the soundtrack of “America, Fuck Yeah!” from the movie, ‘Team America’, you get something really special. I think I like this version of the trailer the best. FUCK YEAH!

If you haven’t seen the TV spot for ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ yet, I would have to ask you to slap yourself. So far, we could only dream about what kind of movie, Captain America is going to be, but after watching the trailer, you realize it is EXACTLY how you imagined it. A bit colorful, a bit campy, but overall awesome. We get a quick glimpse into Steve Roger pre and post “Super Soldier Serum”, the creation of his iconic shield, and we even get a glimpse into Red Skull’s (Hugo Weaving) ugly mug. One thing I have to say is pre-Super Soldier Steve Rogers looked pretty ridiculous. He has an enormous head on a very small and skinny body. Post-Super Soldier Steve Rogers looked amazing! Did you see his pecs? Who knew that Chris Evan’s could give you a hard-on in less than 30 seconds?! Sadly, the Captain America trailer kind of makes ‘Thor’ look like shit. I’m wishing the best for both of them.
‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ opens July 22nd, 2010.

Oh man. Hugo Weaving looks like a hard ass as Red Skull. Chris Evans looks like a stud as Captain America. We get a hi-res first glimpse into Red Skull (pre-disfigurement) and also Chris Evans in what appears to be his modern Captain America suit. Did I ever mention, how much I love officially released movie images? Well I do. Now to get back on track. We also get a glimpse to the set where a normal Steve Rogers is given the “super soldier” serum and looks like Tommy Lee Jones is the man behind the project. I don’t post during the weekend, because I value my free time too much, but these pictures were too awesome to pass up.
‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ opens on July 22nd, 2011. I can’t wait.

Now this is more like it. I love officially release images (rather than the crap from the last post), and I have to say, Marvel’s official “Captain America: The First Avenger’ “Avenge” teaser poster is quite stunning. Chris Evans looks pretty hard core in the poster and I can honestly say the guy is pretty cut and looks sexy as hell as Steve Rogers. Back when ‘Fantastic Four’ was announced, I was a bit disappointed the Evans was cast as “The Human Torch”. I always thought he looked the part of Captain America when I saw the movie “Cellular” and I was surprised and happy to see Marvel let him play another of it’s iconic characters. Now, my job is to go and find his poster and get it inside the house.

Thanks to Marvel.com, we finally get a nice good luck at Bucky (unlike the crappy scans people are uploading onto the net) from ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’. Chris Evans looks pretty buff as Captain America. Sebastian Stan looks like he was beat to shit as trusty sidekick, Bucky. Hit the jump to check out the “rough” scanned images of Bucky, HYDRA soldiers, and Red Skull (Hugo Weaving) pre-disfigurement from Les Toiles Héroïques.
Captain America: The First Avenger opens July 22, 2011.

Yesterday, AICN revealed what may be the conceptual artwork of actor Chris Evans in the Captain America suit for the movie. Many have speculate whether these were legit or not, but even with AICN claiming it is, there is still much to debate about. One thing fans are not debating over is how fucking rad the costume really looks. Staying true to the comics, the conceptual art of Cap sports the patriotic red, white, blue. Unlike, the X-Men movies, the costume designs were not “reimagined” for the big screen. Even after all that hub-bub regarding the legitimacy of the art, Collider dropped the conceptual art of actor Chris Hemsworth in the Thor costume. CRAZY! Comparing the two, it is obvious that the art was done by the same group and there is still no real official word coming from the studios or Marvel whether these are real, but you can only hope.
Iron Man can be a great example of a truly beautiful recreation of a costume from the comics. Adi Granov modern Iron Man artwork has been responsible for what we see in the theatres today. Of course an red and gold Iron Man suit seems a bit more realistic than a red, white and blue tights or a hammer wielding dude in a cape and helmet, but you have to believe that the creative minds behind these movies are going to do their best to make the films right. On the other hand, there was Elektra, Daredevil, Punisher War Zone, etc. etc. etc….. Orz.
