Oh yeah… I enjoy any ‘Avengers’ news regardless how small or pointless it is. On the other hand, as you may know, I don’t dare post set spy photos and reserve my site for officially released images. Well, thankfully Marvel has released images of a cool new banner that will be hanging in your local cinema. I do have to say that the concept is simple, but these are some rad lookin’ banners. Also, from the looks of it, we might be seeing each Avenger as it’s very own poster as well. My only complaint would have to be the way the characters are posed. Other than Captain America, why does it seem that the photographer was posing our beloved Avengers to pose while sticking their necks out? Seems a bit odd. What do I know… My favorite has to be Black Widow and Loki. They look sexy as hell.

I woke up extra early today to make sure I was awake when the first trailer for ‘The Avengers’ dropped this morning and I don’t regret it at all! All we’ve been able to see so far were couple shitty set spy photos and a tasty teaser at the end of ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’, but now, we have a clearer picture of what we can expect from The Avengers and I have to say that I’m fucking excited! The mix of characters and personalities in The Avengers is going to be dynamic and you can already see that between Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark and Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers. Just from what I see from the trailer, it looks like Loki will be off the rails and will be a great villain for the newly assembled team. Also, from the looks of it, RDJ is the front man and will steal the show (but did you expect otherwise). While we would have loved to see more scenes showcasing heroes interacting with other heroes, we will just have to be patient and wait till May when the film comes out. Until then, just check out the trailer and make sure you have an extra set of underwear on hand.

Oh yeah baby… It’s sooo on! Outside of ‘X-Men: First Class’, the movie I have been freakin’ out about coming out of Marvel Studios has to be ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’, so when Paramount Pictures dropped the first theatrical trailer for First Avenger, I couldn’t help, but scream in happiness for over five minutes. It is odd to see a trailer release months after the TV spots, but its better late than never. The trailer does a beautiful job of setting the ton of the film and kind of reminds me of the trailer for ‘Inglorious Basterds’. All this talk about sending Hitler to hell and such is making me want to pick up a Browning automatic rifle and run into battle alongside Steve Rogers. One of the key factors that really drives this trailer is definitely the hard-core nature of Tommy Lee Jones. Even though he plays a small character in the grander scheme of “Captain America”, he really commands the screen and dictates the tempo. All I know if this trailer makes me a believer and director Joe Johnston’s Captain America: The First Avenger film is going to be a head-bashin’, Nazi stompin’ good time.

Holy shit. This is pretty awesome. Entertainment Weekly scored a first hand look at Hugo Weaving as the nefarious, Red Skull in ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’. Just like Steve Rogers (played by Chris Evans), Johann Schmidt was the test subject to create the perfect soldier for the Nazi empire. Unlike Rogers who ended with some manly pecs and stud muscles, Schmidt ended up as pictured above. I think he got the short end of that stick. Considering we only got a VERY small glimpse of Red Skull in the trailer, I think this is pretty amazing. I was a bit skeptic about how they can pull off “Red Skull” and be believable, but I think the make-up and costume department really did an amazing job. I seriously want that HYDRA Corp. belt buckle.

It was bound to happen. Yoko Higuchi (AKA theresistancerises) put together a pretty clever fan-made trailer for Joss Whedon’s ‘The Avengers’ movie. Using various clips from trailers and movies such as, ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’, ‘Iron Man 2′, ‘The Incredible Hulk’, and ‘Thor’ Yoko made a pretty awesome trailer. If I have never seen any of those clips, I would be pretty psyched about this movie. You can always rely on the fans to have too much time on their hands and make cool stuff like this.

America…. America…. AMERICA! FUCK YEAH!
I love mash ups. Especially when cursing is involved. Youtuber, “CelticPredator‘ has gone and done a video where it inspires us to run into the streets and punch terrorists in the face. Combining footage from the ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ trailer from Super Bowl Sunday to the soundtrack of “America, Fuck Yeah!” from the movie, ‘Team America’, you get something really special. I think I like this version of the trailer the best. FUCK YEAH!

If you haven’t seen the TV spot for ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ yet, I would have to ask you to slap yourself. So far, we could only dream about what kind of movie, Captain America is going to be, but after watching the trailer, you realize it is EXACTLY how you imagined it. A bit colorful, a bit campy, but overall awesome. We get a quick glimpse into Steve Roger pre and post “Super Soldier Serum”, the creation of his iconic shield, and we even get a glimpse into Red Skull’s (Hugo Weaving) ugly mug. One thing I have to say is pre-Super Soldier Steve Rogers looked pretty ridiculous. He has an enormous head on a very small and skinny body. Post-Super Soldier Steve Rogers looked amazing! Did you see his pecs? Who knew that Chris Evan’s could give you a hard-on in less than 30 seconds?! Sadly, the Captain America trailer kind of makes ‘Thor’ look like shit. I’m wishing the best for both of them.
