What do you do with your old computer parts? Well, why not make an Imperial Walker AT-AT. Hulmeville, PA native, Sage Werbock (aka the Great Nippulini) who is the resident expert welder, blacksmith, and man with “the world strongest nipples” (self proclaimed) built this pretty awesome AT-AT out of old scrap computer parts and sheet metal.

The main body is composed of power supply boxes from old computers, the head from floppy drive housings, legs and feet from various scrap metal. The entire piece has been welded together using the MIG welding process. Two coats of cold galvanizing primer are applied followed by a coat of varied grays and finished with two coats of protective gloss. The whole sculpture was randomly “attacked” with the welding arc to simulate battle scars.

Nippulini has this sucker for sale on etsy for $450! It looks like this is a one-time deal as he has only one available for sale. Maybe he’s selling it to fund more of his “nipple related” activities.

AT-AT Cake: I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!
Ewok-Cupcake: I’m gonna eat you…

Star Wars wedding cakes are dear to my heart as my impending wedding day is coming up very soon as well. Featured on BridePop.com was this FREAKIN’ AMAZING Star Wars “Fallen Imperial AT-AT on Hoth” cake that bride, Rebecca  Dudeiros had made for her special day. Rebecca was lucky enough to have a very talented pastry chef named Teresa Ulrich as a friend. Unlike most of us (like myself), Rebecca didn’t go to a bakery for her custom Star Wars cake. Teresa did the custom cake on her own for Rebecca. The attention to detail Teresa put in to the structure and proportions of the Imperial AT-AT is stunning and also created a pretty awesome base to resemble the harsh environment of Hoth. One top of that Teresa also made little chocolate cupcakes made to resemble the faces of Ewoks (and you all know how I feel about Ewoks…). The cake was presented on a silver and white paisley print decorated board and if you look closer, you can see Admiral Ackbar and Mon Mothma (looks like couple old skoo Kenner Star Wars action figures) checking out their handy work. In this case, I suppose Ackbar and Mon Mothma serves as the cake topper as representation of the bride and groom. How swwweeeetttttttt~!

Hit the jump to check out more pix of this bad-ass cake!

I love creative costumes, but I hate pet costumes. In this case, I will have to make an exception. I ran into this little gem on Geekologie. Dog and Star Wars lover, Robert (AKA flippycheese on YouTube) hand crafted a Imperial AT-AT Walker costume for his cute Miniature Pinscher.

I made this for my Mini-Pinscher for Halloween as he has about the same size and profile as an AT-AT. It is made out of picture backing board, hot glue, a sharpie, pillow stuffing, and my skin (I used a real scalpel to cut it out, plus the hot glue took a chunk of skin off as well).

It is quite adorable as Robert’s WOOF-AT-AT is probably the fastest heavy artillery unit in the Imperial Force. Now, only if someone can make some miniture A-Wing Fighter costumes for little hamsters and we can recreate the “Battle of Hoth“. Robert.. you and your dog are bad ass!
