It makes a lot of sense to incorporate the world of steampunk with Iron Man. It really does. As a master mechanic and engineer, Tony Stark would have had no problem creating an Iron Man suit regardless of what time period he is in. Instead of the arc reactor, powering the suit with steam is a viable choice. Jonathan Kriscak of Pack Rat Studios took this concept and ran with it and created an amazing custom Steampunk Iron Man. This eleven inch monster was created from the parts of a Cletus action figure (the NFL on Fox robot), and various Transformers action figures. Whats really awesome is the amazing paint job that Jonathan applied to this figure, especially around the bolts and rivets. Another cool aspect of this custom figure is the light that shines in the figure chest. It actually flickers resembling a fire inside a oven. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wrap my brain around all the cool features on this toy and the amazing amount of detail that Jonathan put on this steampunk Iron Man.
This amazing figure is on sale on eBay and the auction ends on April 23. Hit the jump and check out more pix!
