The Ladybug Merc with a Mouth…
HA! This is pretty funny considering how simple the design and concept is. I guess sometimes less is more. Titled, “Ladypool”, graphic designer Daniel Sotomayor aka D4N13L (@D4N150T0) did a clever job of putting together this pretty funny design of Deadpool’s signature mask on a lady bug’s back. You can pick up this tee right now at redbubble for 24 bucks! Too bad the ladybug is not packin’ a machine gun in it’s little hands… (Nevermind, what do I know?…)

It’s using the trees… watching and waiting… killing us off one by one… the choppa is close, but this thing is too fast… we won’t make it, it’s pointless to run… talk. no mo’ games.
I don’t know what it waannnttttsssss… the jungle came alive…
Go on…
This is fucking amazing. So fucking amazing that I can’t seem to write a post to go along with this video. My mind was blown and I’m can’t think of anything. Jon and Al Kaplan, the guys behind “Conan the Barbarian: The Musical” and “Silence! The Musical” introduces their newest and last Schwarzenegger musical called “Predator: The Musical”. With lyrics such as “if it bleeds, you can keel it!”, theres very little I can write about how crazy this musical really is so I should just let you watch it. Hit the jump and your life will never be the same.

The czar of fan-made stop-motion animation using action figures has to be Patrick Boivin (the creator behind “Iron Baby“). Boivin’s newest stop motion short titled, “Black Widow Gone Wild” stars the ‘Iron Man 2′ Black Widow (Scarlet Johannson) movie masterpiece action figure from Hot Toys. Through-out the short, Black Widow beats the shit out of some baddies and some heroes including the T-1000 from ‘Terminator 2: Judgement Day”, Batman from ‘The Dark Knight’, Superman from ‘Superman Returns’, and even Michael Jackson. It seems that Black Widow is having one seriously shitty day and she just felt like punching some faces and kicking some balls. From the looks of it, Boivin is getting better and better. I can’t wait to checkout his next creation.

Yeah… So this isn’t too geek related, but it does have something to do with director/producer Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, Grindhouse, Predators) so you just have to bear with it. Also, I’m a die hard fan of the LOS ANGELES LLLAAAAAKKKKKKKEEEEEEERRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! During the NBA All-Star weekend, Nike premiered a short called “The Black Mamba” starring Kobe Bryant of the LOS ANGELES LLLAAAAAKKKKKKKEEEEEEERRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! If you were not aware, Kobe’s nickname is “The Black Mamba” hence the title of the short. The mini-movie was developed and directed by Robert Rodriguez. So with all Rodriguez projects, you have your cameos. Contesting Kobe’s reign in the NBA are “The Crippler” played by Danny Trejo (Machete), Mr. Suave played by Bruce Willis, and Kanye West as “The Boss”. Each of these baddies are here to stop the Black Mamba and collect his shoes as a trophy. Applying Robert Rodriquez’s talent for violence and action in film into a Nike commercial seems like a weird idea, but the end result is quite entertaining. Outside of Kobe’s medicore acting, it was fun to watch. Especially due to the fact that I’m a fan of Kobe and the LOS ANGELES LLLAAAAAKKKKKKKEEEEEEERRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

Fair warning. This shit will give you an erection as long as the picture. I’m dead serious. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of ‘The Legend of Zelda’, pixiv (a Japanese online community for artists similar to DeviantArt) member, “Ag+” created an amazing Zelda illustration that many consider the greatest Zelda art piece ever. Ag+’s use to colors and attention to detail is pretty mind-blowing in my opinion. The amount of characters featured in this piece is insane as well. I would have to agree with fans that this is the greatest of all time and it will be near impossible for someone to beat this. Whats even cooler is Ag+ posted a video of himself working on this Zelda painting from start to finish. It’s is a pretty incredible video to watch. I can go on and on about how cool this picture is, but I should just let you see it and listen for the sound that you jaw makes when it hits the floor.

Most have come to destroy us… One has come to save us…
But, phoning home won’t be easy… Because this time…
IT’S OFF THE HOOK!
Oh gawd… Please give me a second so I can stop laughing. Thanks to Robert Blankenheim and Derk Johnson Productions, we finally get to see a trailer worthy of being called the sequel to Steven Spielberg’s ‘E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial’. Using various clips from movies such as ‘Deep Impact’, ‘Mars Attacks!’, and ‘The Dreamcatcher’ and a shit load of editing and digital effects, a mash-up trailer has been made showing us exactly what happened after E.T. returns home from Earth. Similar to ‘War of the Worlds’, the extraterrestrials strike back on Earth set to kill all humans. Humanity’s only hope lies with Elliot and E.T. who returns to Earth to help the humans.
I really have to say that just from watching this trailer, I can tell that the amount of editing that went into making this trailer was a daunting task. However, the end product is freakin’ amazing and funny as hell. I especially love the part with the Reese’s Pieces and the scene pictured above (I won’t spoil it for you…). I wish at one point in the trailer, they cut in Morgan Freeman saying “Shoot this mutha-fucka” from ‘Wanted’. That would have been hilarious.

Many of you know how much I am looking forward to the release of director Zack Snyder’s ‘Sucker Punch’. As a long time fan of action, comics, and Japanese animation, Sucker Punch is a serious visual beauty. Of course, we have no idea what the story will be like and whether it’s any good, but girls in school outfits with machine guns and katanas seems like a brilliant way to spend two hours. The newest trailer to hit the web is called the “Trailer Painter”. The trailer has a lot of clips we have already seen in the previous versions, with a couple new scenes. What I like the most about “Trailer Painter” is that they cut out the narration nonsense and pretty much made it into an action packed music video backed by Silversun Pickup’s song, “Panic Switch”. One of the unique things about the “Trailer Painter” is that you can go to the official site, and pick frames from the trailer to customize using an online coloring application. Once you are done putting your personal touch to one of the many frames in the trailer, you can play the video featuring your work and many others submitted to the site. The “painted” trailer is a bit of a mind fuck because the visuals alter at such a fast rate, it almost comes off as a distorted video effect. Pretty cool in my opinion.
