Yeah, I know. This little bad ass Iron Man 2 poster dropped last week, but I can’t help but cover EVERYTHING and anything related to Jon Faverau’s upcoming Iron Man sequel. Mickey Rourke’s Whiplash gets the Iron Man 2 poster treatment this time around. It is hard to say whether I like the Whiplash character cause I am basing my opinion based on the small tidbits that I saw in the trailer. Whiplash gets his hands on the mini-arc reactor technology that Tony Stark utilizes to power his Iron Man suit and creates….. electric whips. Right… Either way, I trust Jon Faverau’s ability to tell stories and develop characters so I am pretty sure Whiplash will turn out to be a hard ass. Enjoy!
Dennis “D-Man” Vazquez of Pit Stop Motorsports designed and fabricated a custom Predator motorcycle. Built off a 2007 Suzuki Hayabusa, this crotch rocket got all the fixin’s to become an ultimate Predator bike. Every inch of this bike screams Predator as D-Man puts some amazing custom fabrications on the Hayabusa such as a un-masked Predator’s face for the fairing, custom detailed gas tank, and more. Nothing was left out of this amazing bike. The Predator’s signature weapons such as the plasma caster (shoulder cannon), medikit, and shuriken were incorporated into this bike. It even has Predator’s trophies of one of his prized kills on the side of the fairing. The bloody skull is still attached to its spinal cord and smothered in brain matter and flesh. The Predator motorbike is definitely amazing and gruesome. Great job to the D-Man and the Pit Stop Motorsports team.

Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XIII is about to drop in a couple weeks and SQEX’s merchandise division, Square Enix Products is currently producing a ton of cool FFXIII collectibles such as action figures, die-cast key chains, business card holders, cups, and even an energy drink. The one item that caught my attention is the official Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Eau de Toile perfume. This is SQEXP’s first fragrance that they have ever produced that that honor goes to the pink haired heroine, Lightning of Final Fantasy XIII. This cool fragrance comes in a crystal shard-like bottle with Lightning frosted/etched onto the side. On top of that, you get a cool little charm of Lightning’s symbol. This perfume will be sold in a 50ml bottle and is described to smell like jasmine. Lightning Eau de Toile drops in the first quarter of 2010 and can be found in Square Enix’s online shop (not available yet) for a meer ¥6800 (about $77).

The sculptors at Hong Kong collectibles designer/producers, Hot Toys must have stood at a cross road and made a deal with the devil cause their uncanny ability to design and sculpt faces to be as realistic as the celebrity is insane! With the upcoming Iron Man 2 movie, Hot Toys is following up their hugely popular Iron Man Movie Masterpiece collection with a Tony Stark flight mechanics test version 12 inch action figure. This is the first Iron Man figure from Hot Toys that isn’t just a suit and actually features a human face.
This cool figure includes a ton of bell and whistles such as:
- Newly sculpted head (sculpted by Kojun) with authentic and detailed fully realized likeness of Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark in the movie IRON MAN.
- ABS material TrueType body with newly designed chest, forearms and forelegs
- 34 points of articulations.
- Two pairs of interchangeable hand palms.
- LED-lighted heart device, hand gauntlet and boots (battery operated, batteries included).
- Real-like mechanically wired hand gauntlet and boots
Detailed Accessories:
- Articulated mechanical robot with 360° rotated base and fire extinguisher as accident detector.

Adidas… Oh, you sneaky loveable bastards… Last month, iGT showed a glimpse of next years Star Wars themed collection from Adidas Originals and Lucas Arts. Now we finally get to see whole she-bang! While some of the sneakers and shoes are very subtle when it comes to it’s relations to the Star Wars universe like the Imperial AT-AT Walker high-top sneakers, some of the designs are quite in-your-face epic such as the X-Wing fighter pilot uniform, TIE fighter, and Planet Dagobah inspired shoes and clothing. The collection will be split into three different waves according to the theme type.
- Characters Pack: This pack takes the most iconic moments and characters from the Star Wars saga and brings them to life across five sneakers, two short sleeve T-shirts and the Superstar Track Top.
- Vehicles Pack: For this pack, we have taken inspiration from the well known vehicles and crafts from the Star Wars saga and translated them to our five most iconic adidas Originals sneakers and two key adidas Originals apparel models. Across these models we have paid homage to the distinguished features of airborne crafts and land based vehicles from both sides of the Force and executed them to appeal to both adidas and Star Wars fans alike.
- Direct Pack: Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers appear in this pack as well as in the Characters pack. Also, the Women’s Game Mid silhouette that appears here is inspired by Princess Leia, featuring gold detailing paired with a modern high-top silhouette with matching apparel.
This epic collection is only the first season collection so it is safe to assume that there will be more to come. The collection will be available through Adidas Original stores and participating retailers. I personally will be dropping a shit load of credits to get some of these goodies. Will I wear them? I do not know. I am not sure I can handle some dumb Star Trek bastard accidently steppin’ on my kicks. Unless, she’s really cute. I’ll let it pass.
