star-destroyer-cake-2

Oh my Sith Lord… This thing is probably the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. This bad ass Imperial Star Destroyer cake with light-up action is the creation of Lorenzo Wood, who made this beauty for his son, Alexander. How SWEET is that!

Looks like Hot Toys is busy rolling out the goodies for the release of G.I. Joe: Retaliation. Following up Snake-Eyes, Hot Toys second release in the Retaliation Movie Masterpiece line will be none other than Storm Shadow!

Following the firstly launched character of the Snake Eyes Collectible Figure from the upcoming G.I. Joe Retaliation movie, Hot Toys is thrilled to present the white ninja – the Storm Shadow Collectible Figure who comes from the villainous Cobra organization.
The movie-accurate collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Lee Byung Hun as Storm Shadow in his white ninja bodysuit in the movie, highlighting the new developed heads, highly detailed costume and weapons.
Let’s continue the ninja battle between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow in this sequel!

I have to say that Hot Toys did a tremendous job getting down the likeness of Lee Byung Hun for this figure. This figure is definitely on my must-buy list, but I have to admit that I am very curious with what’s up with Storm Shadow’s shoes. Expect Storm Shadow to drop in the Summer.

Watch out Sideshow Collectibles! There’s a new kid in town! Iron Studios, a collectibles designer/manufacturer out of Brazil released two teaser images of a statue for the Iron Man Mark XLII (or XLVII pending on who you ask) from the upcoming movie, Iron Man 3. Based on the teaser, it is hard to tell whether we are looking at photographs of the prototype or looking at a CGI rendering of the product. Regardless, if Iron Studios gets even close of the teaser photo, this would be one amazing collectible.

Roughly translated from Portuguese: The Iron Studios officially announces the online movie Iron Man 3. We would like to share this preview of our Mark XLII ready, this is only part of the armor that was developed 100% on top of the molds and actual information used for the production of the film, we were careful to reproduce every detail of the armor for the pieces are extremely faithful to the original. For the first time a Brazilian forward this production replicas, statues and accessories for collectors, our team is in constant contact with Marvel Studios and all the work is being monitored and approved by them. All projects are carefully designed and developed to suit all collectors and movie fans. Expect pictures soon …

Hot Toys and Kotobukiya has already introduced their new Iron Man 3 products and I’m pretty sure Sideshow is not far behind. Hopefully, Iron Studios will be able to get statues produced and out into the market (and hopefully into the United States). Too many companies have never got past the development stage. Good luck Iron Studios! I’ll be tuning in.

Here’s another FANTASTIC fan-made poster by “WormyT”. Here is the once young Luke Skywalker channeling his inner Obi-Wan Kenobi look. I have to say that if Episode VII-IX turns out to be Legacy of the Force, this poster would be the perfect teaser for the new trilogy.
