A Full Size Rancor is the Must Have Accessory at Star Wars Celebration VI

“Star Wars Celebration VI” is near and everyone is getting ready for the big show. While everyone is packing as many Star Wars shirts they can fit into their luggage, the amazing folks at the 501st Legion (@501stLegion) will be bringing along a full size rancor down to Orlando, Florida. Named “Roxy the Rancor”, master sculptor and art director, Rick Bohler of Pizzazz Scenic was commissioned to create this epic monster. From the looks of it, Roxy is going to be the biggest attraction at Star Wars Celebration VI. I wonder if this bad boy (or is it a girl?) will come along with a few Gamorrean guard for it to eat.

Ahhh… Not since considering about posting Justin Beiber getting blasted on TV have I even considered posting another Beiberelated news on my site. No thanks to IGN and Teddie Films, I can’t help it this time. Titled “Droidfriend” and preformed by C3-Beib-O (Oh, I see what you did there…) this little song is a Star Wars parody of Justin Beiber’s song, ‘Boyfriend’. The original song makes me want to throw up my breakfast, but Droidfriend is pretty catchy and amusing. It’s pretty funny and fitting that this song featured C-3PO considering so many of us would choose Artoo over Threepio because Astromech Droids are so much cooler. It’s your time to shine, C3-Beib-O! Now, go get a new voice module and get a fucking haircut.

The Battle for Endor Starts on This Mind Blowing ‘Return of the Jedi’ LEGO Chess Set

At some point, a regular toy becomes a work of art and that is the case with LEGO fanatic and builder, Brandon Griffith. Over the last few years, Brandon created an amazing LEGO chess board themed after Star Wars: Episode VI A New Hope and Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. Well, after three+ long years, his labor of love is finally complete with the release of his Return of the Jedi LEGO chess board. Even though Empire Strikes Back is my favorite Star Wars film, I have to say that this is my favorite LEGO chess board. It’s fucking beautiful for God’s sake! Scout Troopers on the Empire’s side. Disgusting little Ewoks on the Rebel’s side. I have to admit that my favorite part of the chess set has to be the board itself. Constructed out of LEGO’s Brandon created the forest of Endor as the base of this amazing chess set. It’s so fucking beautiful that I would never touch it. This belongs in a museum. On that note, if I did play with it, I would be too busy smacking the Ewoks off the board in dramatic fashion because smacking Ewoks is what I do.

Happy Star Wars Day minions! It’s a great day to be a Star Wars fan so go out there and mix it up and party hard. Go watch the ‘Avengers’, jam out to ‘The Beastie Boys’ (I will miss you MCA…), grill some steaks, empty a bottle of scotch, get into a lightsaber fight with a Zabrak or whatever. Just go and enjoy Star Wars Day! As for myself, I’m going to spend the next two days in the woods clubbing Ewoks in the head and selling their hides for some credits at the local general store. Wish me luck and “May the fourth be with you”!

If there ever was a ‘Star Wars’ church, these beautiful stained glass windows will be all over the place. Created by crafts artisan, “AidenT” this awesome stained glass window looks to be Commander Bacara of the Clone Troopers decked out in Captain Rex blue. It looks like AidenT loves his geeky stained glass windows as he features a ‘Doctor Who’ TARDIS and ‘Star Trek’ stained glass window as well in his DeviantArt gallery. I hope AidenT makes a collection of these based on Clone and Stormtroopers, especially Captain Rex!

Star Wars Day 2012: Chewbacca Is One Lucky Bastard! ‘Saber 2: Return of the Body Wash’ Premieres on Nerdist Channel

Chewbacca, you lucky son of a bitch! If you remember, back in 2009, writer/director Adam Green put together a little short film titled ‘Saber‘ which is pretty much a parody of the Axe body spray commericals with a ‘Star Wars’ twist featuring the beautiful Rileah Vanderbilt and Clare Grant. Well, three years later to celebrate “Star Wars Day”, the girls are back in ‘Saber 2: Return of the Bathwash’!

The last remnants of the Empire have been defeated, and it is a period of peace in the galaxy. The Jedi Order, no longer needed in their role as defenders, have scattered across the stars and started new lives…while the Sith wait quietly hidden in their midst.

Such a Jedi and her Sith counterpart have found common ground and established a new business together on a remote planet. United by a love of animals and a belief in the force, they have rededicated their lives to the art of grooming.

Their latest mission leads them to the base of a former Rebel. Though the war is over, they have not forgotten where their true allegiances lie…

Saber 2 premiered on The Nerdist Channel on YouTube and was directed by none other than the infamous, Seth Green. Watching Saber 2 over and over again is not a bad way to spend Star Wars Day. Just keep your hands off your lightsaber.
