Oh, I want these. I want these BAD. Professional comic inker, Jon Bolerjack put together an amazing set of illustrations combining The Avengers and the clonetroopers from Star Wars. I really love the small details on each Avengertrooper like the Captain America shield complete with the Galactic Empire insignia. This set is definitely perfect, but I have to ask. Where’s Black Widow? Maybe it’s too hard to do a “butt pose” wearing trooper armor.
This is one mash-up I wouldn’t mind watching in the theatre. Does an Imperial AT-AT count as a Zord?

Ah shit. Here we go again. Latino Review is reporting that Disney and Lucasfilm is in talks with The Tudors and Dracula (2013 mini-series) star, Jonathan Rhys Meyers to be cast in Star Wars: Episode VII. Jonathan Rhys Meyers already has experience with director J.J. Abrams on Mission Impossible 3 back in 2006. Meyers hasn’t really broken through to be an A-list actor in Hollywood, but he has been producing quality work for a very long time in television and movies. If there is any truth to this rumor, Jonathan Rhys Meyers will join veteran Star Wars actors, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill.
IF Jonathan Rhys Meyers is cast in Episode VII, which character do you think he would (or should) play? My guess is Jacen Solo. He looks like a Sith Lord.
Star Wars: Episode VII is set to drop in 2015.
Remember that crazy “Star Wars Filibuster” by Patton Oswald on Parks and Recreation? Well, as incredibly epic as that was, it’s even BETTER animated thanks to Issac Moore! I said this before and I’ll say it again. I would still pay to watch Oswald’s vision for Star Wars: Episode VII.
HUZZZZAAAAAHHHHHH!!! The world was shocked when it was announced that Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be canceled after next season. Well, now there is something to rejoice as Dave Filoni has announced that a new series is currently in development called, Star Wars Rebels! Star Wars Rebel will premiere in 2014 as an one hour special on Disney Channel and then move into DisneyXD as a regular series.
The series is described as set in the time between Episode III and Episode IV. The “Rebels” are in uprising as they take on the newly founded, Galactic Empire. The thing that really got me excited has to be the description of the new animated style of the series. They will go away from the unique look of the Clone Wars and move to a style that is a nod to the original Star Wars concept art done by Ralph McQuarrie. That is very exciting. There is always word that some characters that were loved in The Clone Wars may make their way to Rebels like Ashoka Tano. Hopefully, Rebels will reveal the faith of some of our favorite characters post-Order 66.
Simon Kinberg and Greg Weisman joins Dave Filoni as executive producers. Star Wars Rebels drops in 2014.
