FINALLY! Thanks to Sideshow Collectibles and the 30th anniversary of Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, we finally get a Darth Vader action figure worthy of the Sith Lord!

Sideshow celebrates the 30th anniversary of Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi with the new Darth Vader Deluxe Sixth Scale Figure. Recreate every memorable scene with this essential Vader figure, featuring a fully articulated body, faithfully reproduced costume, and detailed helmet, mask, and portrait options. To complete your display, we’ve included an impressive Imperial-themed light up figure stand and a meditation chamber stand for Vader’s helmet and mask.

ThreeA Toys will be releasing two amazing one-sixth scale action figures of Atlas and P-body. Each of these rad bots “features a light-up optical sensor and light-up handheld Portal Device”. Hot Toys is rolling out the big guns this time for their impressive Iron Man 3 collectibles line. The newest addition to the collection will be none other than the War Machine Mark II Movie Masterpiece Series Die-Cast one-sixth scale action figure!

Celebrating the launch of Marvel’s Iron Man 3 movie, Hot Toys is excited to present a new addition to the premium MMS Diecast Series – the 1/6th scale War Machine Mark II Limited Edition Collectible Figurine.
Leading the MMS Diecast Series is the iconic Iron Man 3 Series, in which the collectible figures are made of diecast material, specially designed to look more closely to the realistic Iron Man characters in the movie. The MMS Diecast Series will take fans to the next level of authenticity, focusing on the materials, fine details and engineering of the Iron Man collectible figures, while some of the parts can be shared between our MMS and Diorama Series for displaying together in 1/6th scale. More collectibles from Iron Man 3 will be joining the the MMS Diecast Series in the future!

One of the most highly anticipated films of 2013 has to be Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim. When it comes to robots and monsters, you know there will be toys involved. NECA has just released the first glimpse at their Pacific Rim 18 inch Gipsy Danger action figure. It’s looks pretty awesome so far. I can’t wait to see it fully painted!

Gallery 1988 is known for showcasing some of the most incredible movie inspired artwork done by some of the most talented artists in the world. That is the case with Gallery 1988’s newest Star Trek Into Darkness print by Rhys Cooper.

Throughout the month of our Bad Robot show, we will be releasing a few new prints, like a gift that keeps giving. So you have that to look forward to!
Tomorrow afternoon, May 9th, we will be releasing these Rhys Cooper beauties. They are each 12×36 inches. The regular edition is of 100, and is the blue and black colorway. Those are $75 each. And the variant edition is of 50 total, and is the red colorway. These will be $100 each.
These prints are beautiful in person and what better way to celebrate the release of Bad Robot’s upcoming Star Trek Into Darkness!

Who said child safety cannot be fun? If you’re geek parents that want to “geekify” your clone, you should be taking your hard earned money over to Kids Embrace and yelling “TAKE MY MONEY NOW!”. Kids Embraces put together a fantastic Batman themed car seat for your toddler. Batman is carefully painted into the seat and the arms and fists serves as arm rest and cup holder. On top of that, you get a nifty cape that doubles as a warm blanket for your child. I guess the only thing that stands in your way is whether you want your child to sit on Batman’s lap the whole time. It could get awkward.
