We’ve all seen the rice rockets here in North America…you know, the Japanese import cars with the big wing, loud exhausts, and maybe an Optimus Prime flame sticker or something. But Japan’s taken the car culture to a whole other level by merging its two biggest exports: cars and cute anime cat girls.

Colorado resident Anthony Le must REALLY love his Iron Man. Considering his feat of making his own bad-ass War Machine costume for the premiere of Iron Man 2 in May is quite impressive. Anthony’s costume is no simple, half-assed cardboard cutout with black sharpie marker colored all over it. This War Machine cosplay is the result of labor intensive work and precision. More impressive is the fact that his War Machine costume was drafted and designed based on a small tidbit that he saw of War Machine during the Iron Man 2 teaser that premiered at San Diego Comic Con this past year. Considering, it is most likely that he had to guess on some of the parts, he did an amazing job. This bad-ass is completely made of high impact urethane material and actually uses about 600+ rivets to give War Machine a little more bite. On top of that, this cosplay features light up repulsor gauntlets and a vibrant arc reactor. This sir, sets the bar pretty high when it comes to fan created armor costumes. The late Stan Winston would be proud. Cheers to you Mr. Le. I want to buy you a Corona.

Billionaire playboy, Bruce Wayne has a shit load of cash in his trust fund that he can occasionally blow on lavish and incredibly ridiculous junk. Considering majority of his bank is tied up in Wayne Enterprises and his side gig as Gotham’s caped crusader, why not mix the best of both worlds. One fan went bat-shit nutty with an incredible Batmobile stretch limo. Based off of Tim Burton’s rendition of the Batmobile, this limo has all the signature art-deco flares of the Batmobile from the Batman and Batman Returns. Everything from the cool armor plating, batwing stylized fins, and faux twin jet turbine engines are featured on this limo. As much as I loved Burton’s Batmobile, too bad the limo wasn’t themed after the 1960’s Batman television series version. At least the design wasn’t based off of one of Joel Schumacher’s failures. DIE SCHUMACHER! DIE!

iGT had the pleasure of featuring Volpin Props‘ incredible work in the past, and it is exciting to be able to feature more of Harrison Krix’s (the founder and excellent craftsmen of Volpin Props) work. This time around, Harrison took on the feat of creating a monstrous costume of Big Daddy from 2k Games‘ BioShock. On top of that feat, he fabricated Little Sister’s ADAM syringe as well. Harrison premiered his great cosplay at Dragon Con 2009. This amazing project took over 7 weeks for Harrison to design and fabricate and it took just as long to convince the Georgia Aquarium to allow his to do a photo shoot of his costume. Harrison’s hard work and constant communication with the aquarium paid off. With the services of photographer Matthew Nicholson of Dim Horizon Studios, Harrison’s BioShock cosplay gets the amazing spotlight it deserves. Amazing.

If you ever read my posts and follow me on Twitter, you will know what a big Back to the Future trilogy fanatic I am. My childhood obsession of Back to the Future, Deloreans, and Barbie themed hover boards is part of who I am. I guess this was why I was blown away when I ran into this bitchin’ Back to the Future mods for Electronic Arts‘ Crysis and Crysis Wars. Whats really cool is the fact that this is no “re-skin” mod. You have the ability to time travel to the past and the future through a time flow graph. On top of that, you get the cool bells and whistles of the inside of the Delorean. Personally, I have never played any of teh Crysis games, but I am very curious to check this mod out. You can download the mod and try it yourself at crymod.
