A group of unknown students at Minnesota’s Carleton College decided to PWN their very own Goodsell Observatory by dressing it up to look like a very familiar astrometric droid from Star Wars. The epic pranksters decorated the observatory with pre-fabricated drapes and taped them around the building to look like R2-D2. Just to be on the safe side, no spray paint was used for the prank so there was no serious or permanent damage to the property. Smart! On top of that, the decorations were accompanied by Artoo sound effects as well! No one has officially come forward and claimed the deed, but these prankster may have pulled off one of the greatest Star Wars pranks of all time.

Safety is definitely a huge factor if you are planning on getting a motorcycle. Well, considering there is a huge amount of customization going on for motorcycles, why not put your personal touch on your helmet as well. Especially if its something bad ass like an Iron Man custom paint job. Safety is definitely key, but you shouldn’t have to give up style. Just don’t be a douche and put some lame ass fluorescent colored plastic mohawk on your helmet. Thats just tasteless and… well I guess douchey.

While you were enjoying a sunny Memorial Day weekend, Williamsburg was invaded by zombies during the NYC Zombie Crawl. Zombie fanatics showed up zombified and enjoyed a nice day to zombie football along with “human tug-o-war”, blood fights (what ever that is…), and other insane events with a zombie twist. There was even a “Zombie Dance Party A Go-Go” at the famed, Knitting Factory in Brooklyn. Photographer Paul Quitoriano was on site taking cool pix of the zombies such as Ally Wolff-Mills (as seen above). Considering, zombies are suppose to be terrifying and gruesome, these are some good lookin’ zombie gals. I would gladly let them eat my brain…

Hit the jump to check out more of Paul’s great photos from NYC Zombie Crawl!

Sporting a pimped out Toyota Corolla Axio, Team Evangelion made their debut (back in early May) at the 3rd round of the Super GT racing series which was held at Fuji Speedway Circuit. Even with a highly respectable ninth place finish, the real crowd pleaser was by race queens, Noa Mizutani and Yuuna Chiba. Donning “race queen” version of the entry plug suits made famous in Gainex’s Neon Genesis Evangelion anime, these gals where the perfect duo to compliment the EVA Unit 01 inspired race car. Even the driver’s race suits are designed to look like Shinji Ikari’s entry plug suit as well. Lately, a lot of anime studios and merchandise companies has become very fond of sponsoring Super GT race teams so why not have Rei and Asuka cheering on their team track side? With these lovely cosplay race queens at the races, I doubt people will be paying much attention to the race. Just in case you were wondering, Noa is cosplaying Rei Ayanami (on right) and Yunna is Asuka Langley Soryu (on left).

Considering, I’ve been a huge fan of NASCAR and World Rally Championship, I kinda wish there was a possibility of something like “Team EVA” making it over to the United States. I would definitely be more interesting to watch in my opinion. I would rather look at couple cute race queens in sexy costumes versus some drunk ass douche in a sweaty fucking sleeveless shirt with a huge beer belly. Bleh~

201005disneysizechart

Graphic designer, Juan Pablo Bravo (of Chile) has taken the task of creating a visual chart of the size comparison of 250 of your favorite Disney characters. He has already done a 200 character infographic for characters from Pixar films and also a 70 character infographic for all the villains from various Disney movies. Juan’s attention to detail is epic as he created this size comparison chart in chronological order and also color coded the character based on the importance the character’s role in their respective films. On top of that, each character’s  name is indicated in both English and Spanish. Not a single character was left out as the chart features characters such as Snow White to little Rhino from Bolt. The picture above is just a small sample of what Juan has created. The actual chart is HUGE and you can view it here!
