RELOADING!

The fans continue to put out amazing fan-made films that puts Hollywood to shame. This time, Northern Five Entertainment and Airsoft GI put together a mind-blowing short film titled ‘Left 4 Dead: Impulse 76′ based on the hit zombie-shooter game, ‘Left 4 Dead’ by Valve. The acting and special effects is top notch and the action is relentless. I also love the surprise at the end. I would have to say that I am more than willing to pay a pretty penny to see this masterpiece on the big screen. I don’t want some big studio to do it. I want these guys to do it. They understand L4D, gaming, and what the fans want. We want THIS. It also doesn’t hurt that the beautiful, Meagan Marie makes a cameo as well.

Finally! The first episode of EA and BioWare produced mini-web series ‘Dragon Age: Redemption’ has been released! Written and starring the beautiful Felicia Day (@feliciaday), the story follows an Elvish assassin named Tallis. Right off the bat, Tallis is summoned to capture a Qunari Mage baddie named Saarebas. So far, the story is moving pretty fast. Considering it’s only a web series, the production is a bit small, but I have to say that the make-up and costumes looks amazing! The incredible Doug Jones looks amazing as Saarebas and I have to say, Felicia’s Talis costume and cleavage is MIGHTY impressive (I’m sorry, I could help it…). It’s going to be interesting to see where the web series goes from here. The web series is only six episodes long, so I’m pretty sure its going to be a short one. All I know is that I want to see more and I kind of want to play ‘Dragon Age’ again… I guess that’s what BioWare and EA was betting on.

pokemonpartyrock

Yeah. This is hilarious as HELL! You have to admit that “Party Rock” by LMFAO has been the party anthem for the summer of 2011, so I can imagine why this is the best song to use to make a parody song and music video for ‘Pokemon’.  Well, that is EXACTLY what Chad Nikolaus and Angie Griffin, the geeky geniuses (and real-life couple) behind “The Screen Team” (@thescreenteam) did. The best parts has to be the lyrics and any scene with Chad and Angie as Team Rocket. That shit was funny as hell. I couldn’t stop watching! It’s pretty amazing what you can do with a camera, a homemade green screen, and a lot of creativity.

It looks like today is a ‘Fallout’ sort of day! Earlier this year, Wayside Creation produced a pretty awesome fan film based on the hit video game series ‘Fallout’, titled ‘Fallout: Nuka Break’. The film followed the adventures of Twig (Zack Finfrock) a former Vault 10 Dweller, Ben (Aaron Giles) a radiation-ravaged ghoul, and Scarlett (Tybee Diskin) a sexy former slave. The trio searched the barren deserts of California for a “Nuka Soda”. Well since then, it has been quiet out of the Wayside Creation homefront…. that is until now. With a little fundraising and support of the Fallout fan community, Wayside is back with ‘Fallout: Nuka Break’ the web series. The trio is back as they do what they can to survive in the harsh wasteland called, “Fallout”. The first episode has been released and I can say this is one of the neatest and coolest looking web series out right now. Hopefully, the Nuka Break can keep up with the cool visuals and witty humor.

Wow wow wow! Custom toy and doll crafter, Elisabeth Redel (AKA PinkAxolotl) of Germany just may be one of the coolest girlfriend you can have. As a gift for her boyfriend, Elisabeth created an amazing custom Monopoly game themed after the hit video game, ‘Fallout’.

This is a gift for my boyfriend. I spend a lot of time making the board and all cards in the Fallout style… The board was printed on a 50 x 50 cm PVC plate. Every street is a location from the Fallout game. “GO” is now “G.O.A.T.” and “free parking” is the “please stand by” screen. Every card has one of the Fallout3 or Fallout New Vegas perks on it and has a really cool old playingcard image on the back. I use a lot of really cool stockphotos in this project…

That is pretty fucking amazing in my opinion. It’s not like she did a half-ass job on this project out of markers and construction paper. If I didn’t read the description first, I would have thought a company was producing a Fallout Monopoly game. On that note, someone get this amazing custom board game licensed and made dammit!

If you are a fan of ‘Top Gear’ (the UK version and not that trash made in the United States), you are fully aware of the great reviews provided by hosts Jeremy Clarkson, “Hamster”, and “Captain Slow”. Well, what would it be like if Top Gear reviewed vehicles from our favorite video games? Well, I guess we get a chance to see what it would be like with ‘Forza Motorsport 4’s new promo video featuring Jeremy Clarkson going over the specs and features of the 2554 AMG Transport Dynamics M12 Force Application Vehicle (AKA “The Warthog”) from ‘Halo 4′. As entertaining I found the whole thing, Clarkson definitely seems confused by the whole thing and probably thinking in his head that he doesn’t get paid enough for this shit. Still, it’s pretty funny to hear his voice jibber-jabber about the Warthog.
