Do you remember watching Disney animated movies when you’re a little kid and you watched birds and rats making a ball gown for Cinderella? Yeah, I know. I was pretty traumatized too. Think about all the nasty germs and viruses these pests will leave on the dress. If Cinderella ends up with some type of hantavirus, you know it’s one of those rat bastards that did it. Well, you won’t have that problem with mouse herpes with these outfits from Harrods (a UK luxury clothing and accessories designer). To celebrate the 2012 holiday season, Harrods and photographer, Jason Ell put together a collection of photographs dubbed “Once Upon a Dream” featuring various Disney Princesses in high fashion outfits from the industry’s best designers such as Oscar de la Renta, Versace, and Roberto Cavalli. These glamorous Princess photos will grace the holiday issue of Harrods Magazine.

This is it for me this week minions. I’m going to go enjoy the long weekend and stuff my face with Thanksgiving Ewok and drink heavy amounts of scotch. I suggest you do the same before you go out and make Black Friday purchases that you will regret the next day. Also, make sure that on Thanksgiving, you give thanks for your great family, friends, and of course, Darth Vader.
Have a great Thanksgiving minions. – geektrooper

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is one of those special celebrities. The pro-wrestling star and actor has been well known for his generosity and love for his fans. Unlike a lot of actors who keep their fans at arm’s length, The Rock always embraces his loyal fans with his Mack truck sized arms. Today, The Rock helped the dreams of two of his fans come true. Working with Make-a-Wish Foundation and Starlight Children’s Foundation, The Rock surprised Carl and Jack with an appearance. What’s even cooler was that he was decked out in his Luke Hobbs costume from Fast and the Furious 6! Mr. Johnson. You sir, are a gentleman (who has the ability to pulverize my head).

My favorite comic artist of all time is J. Scott Campbell. I have worshiped the man ever since the day I bought my first issue of Gen 13. That’s probably why I fell off my seat when I saw Callie Cosplay’s tribute to one of J. Scott Campbell’s best work, the “Black Cat cover” from The Amazing Spider-Man #607. I have to say that Callie did an purr-fect job in bringing J. Scott Campbell’s amazing art to reality. Yeah, I know. That was corny. Sorry.

The incredible baker and fondantsmith Ant at Nerdache Cakes (@NerdacheCakes) is at it again with an amazing Winnie the Pooh and Doctor Who mash-up cake. I don’t usually post geek cakes and stuff anymore because everyone is doing it, but I can’t resist the epic charm of this beautiful cake. No one would have ever thought about mashing up Winnie the Pooh and Doctor Who, but it freakin’ works! No detail was overlooked in this awesome cake. Everything from Piglet dressed as a Dalek to the fez on Tigger head to the “Hunny” jar on top of the “Polise Bocs” is sheer genius.

So it seems that we may have jumped to conclusions after seeing the new RoboCop. During a four minute licensing reel for director Jose Padilha’s RoboCop remake, we get a closer look at some of the surprises in store for us in 2014. While we were up in arms about the RoboCop armor that looked like the lovechild of The Dark Knight and Iron Man, it is safe to say that the reboot will feature a suit that is more similar to the RoboCop that we grew up with and love. Sadly, like any good superhero film, the hero will most likely to get an upgrade so we may not be safe from the black RoboCop armor just yet.
RoboCop has a release date of February 7, 2014.

Well, this is a complete mind-fuck. Somebody at Disney is trying to brainwash you that Oz: The Great and Powerful IS Alice in Wonderland. If you watched the trailer for Oz, you will have seen the tag, “From the Producer of Alice in Wonderland” plastered on your screen. Sadly, only one of the ten credited producer on Alice is producing Oz. That doesn’t really mean much does it? Either way, now I’m not sure if my excitement for Oz is free will or the will of the big “D”. Are we being mind controlled by Mickey Mouse so that we pour another billion in for Disney? I don’t know. I don’t care. I love that shit too much.
