Let’s face it. We are all drooling over the fact that ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ is going to come out this year. Well, until then we can only dream about how awesome Christopher Nolan’s next Batman installment is going to be. Well, looks like Doğan Can Gündoğdu couldn’t wait. He went and made his very own opening sequence for the film and I have to say, it is fucking impressive. If this awesome opening doesn’t send chills down your spine, you’re not human… or just a massive twat. Great work Doğan!

We all know about SOPA and PIPA. We do not like it and people are voicing their opinion around the world and on the web. I’m not going to sit here and lecture you about it and I’ll leave that to the professionals. On the other hand, I can share this brilliant music performance video by the team at Laugh Pong titled “The Day the LOLcats Died”.
SOPA and PIPA are two examples of recent legislation that is lethal to the internet as we know it. The internet rose up and is on its way to successfully fighting them off, but we need to stay vigilant.
The only way to prevent legislation like this from being passed in the future is to call your Congressmen and tell them. Make it clear that you don’t support SOPA, you don’t support PIPA, and that you won’t support future legislation that damages the stability of the internet.

Can I just say that I went ape-shit (in a good way) when I saw this AMAZING ‘Game of Thrones’ cake?! Designed and made by Kensei Yonzon and Nicole Villar Balaoing, this mind blowing cake was designed to look like the iconic “Iron Throne” from the hit series, Game of Thrones. From the looks of it, a lot of TLC was given by these gifted cake artist. Everything from the swords made of fondant (or modeling chocolate) and stunning coloring, this cake is worthy of any King (except that little bitch Joffrey Baratheon…). It looks so awesome that you can’t help but think what it might be like to sit on it… Of course, you will only come to realize that it’s a cake when you’re scraping icing off your ass.

I would like to ask everyone to start clapping your hands for ‘Harry Potter’ and cat fan, Laura Marshall. She claims that she isn’t a “crazy cat lady”, but she did commission Will Whitehouse of Whitehouse Wood Works out of Houston, Texas to created a nine foot tall cat house that looks like “The Burrow” from ‘Harry Potter’. The Burrow is the house that the Weasley lived in and from the looks of it, Will did an amazing job. I would be very disappointed if Laura’s cat doesn’t have red hair. As cool as this is, I prefer the TARDIS cat house.

There are tons of people out there with generic ‘Star Wars’ tattoos. They are all over the web. However, when someone gets a Star Wars inspired tattoo with an unique spin, that is something very special. That is the case with this “Day of the Dead” calaveras-style tattoo of our favorite Droids, C-3Po and R2-D2. This calaveras Artoo and Threepio tattoo is the work of Greg Howell of Jack Brown’s Tattoos in Fredericksburg, VA.. All I can say is this is pretty awesome and rests on “ladyofguadalupe“. I love how Artoo looks like he’s smiling (kinda…)

This just might be the coolest handmade ‘Portal 2′ Wheatley puppet I have ever seen. Created by graphic designer, “TRP-Chan”, this awesome Wheatly puppet features lights and movement and the best part is that it can say ten different quotes!
I absolutely loved Portal 2 and as soon as I finished it I knew I had to build myself a Wheatley. Because Wheatley is the best thing ever. This guy’ll be a prop alongside a Chell costume I’ll be wearing.
He’s roughly life-sized at approximately 12 inches across (might be an inch or two short of Wheatley’s real diameter) and works as a puppet, using the hole in his back for access to his controls. His eyeplate and eyelids both move. He also plays 10 quotes from the game. His eye is lit up in some of the pictures there.. I really wish my camera could deal with the light better. You can actually see all the details when it’s lit up, but the camera just washes them all out.

Unfortunately, TRP-Chan will not be selling this puppet and also doesn’t have the time or part to make more to sell to other Portal fans. Shucks!
