The official trailer for Mark Forster and Brad Pitt’s World War Z is finally out and we finally get a clear look at the film adaptation of the hit book by Max Brooks.
Synopsis: The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Enos plays Gerry’s wife Karen Lane; Kertesz is his comrade in arms, Segen.
At the moment, it smells a lot like I Am Legend (which I hated…), but I willing to go on a limb and say that it’s good because I believe in Mark Forster and Brad Pitt. Even though this isn’t the movie that hardcore World War Z fans were hoping for, it still looks like a wild ride full of running zombies and Brad Pitt’s baby blue eyes. It’s perfect for the Summer.
World War Z also stars Bryan Cranston, Matthew Fox, Mirielle Enos, James Badge Dale, Elyes Gabel and David Morse and opens on June 21, 2013.
