Apparently, Nintendo has taken up the philosophy that “bigger is better”. Following the moderately popular Nintendo DSi hand held gaming console, Nintendo has officially revealed bigger and better (that’s yet to be determined), Nintendo DSi LL. The DSi LL will feature a 4.2 inch screen that is almost 33% larger than that of the current DSi screen. The DSi LL will also have 2 larger stylus. One will be a thicker-style stylus measuring at 5 inches and a thinner stylus similar to the standard DS stylus, but a bit bigger. Nintendo’s move to utilize a larger screen comes from the consumers suggestions for a larger display to use for internet browsing, media play, and for larger font in text based games. Other than the display and stylus, the DSi LL is virtually the same as the standard DSi. The DSi LL will be available in 3 new colors which includes Wine Red, Natural White, and Dark Brown. The larger DSi LL will have a larger price tag as well at ¥20,000 (which is about 220 dollars). Japan will get first dibs on the DSi which will hit the streets of Japan on November 21^st. Nintendo has not released any other information regarding release dates for the other markets. Considering the moderate success that the DSi had in the market so far, will the DSi LL be any different or will current DS owners decide to switch to the bigger and badder DSi LL. Personally, I never bought a DSi and have been satisfied with the regular DS Lite. Good thing I didn’t buy one. For you DS fans that did trade in their DS for the DSi, I can only say one thing. SUUUCCCKKKKEEERRRRSSSSS!
