Robotech and Macross aren’t the same but there was a time when they were going to be. Matter of fact the Macross pilot for America which became Robotech sported the same is Robotech used 2 more anime which was common practice at the time. So to say Robotech is crap is to say Macross is crap since the only difference between them were names and songs.
