“Face it tiger, you’re a lizard…”

Meet the newest craze in the geek pet market. Kenya native Rock Agama lizard (Agama mwanzae) has become a huge craze in the United Kingdom due to their skin color resembling our favorite web slinger, Spider-man. Know for being very tame and docile, they have become to make great pets. Contrary to Agama’s uncanny Spider-man-like color scheme, they cannot shoot web and do not have “spider sense” abilities, but they can scale vertically on walls. On top of that they run on their hind legs and change colors pending on the time of day and temperature. While they are a brilliant red and blue during the day in the sun, they become a pasty brown in the night.

I wonder if the Agama is a glimpse of what may be the results of a homo-erotic night between Spider-man and the Lizard after having one too many shots of tequila.
