… and into the rabbit hole we go!
The second season of Fringe starts with a bang as a new mystery is dropped on top of our heads even before the beginning credits start. “A New Day in an Old Town” doesn’t start slow as it is already a runaway train from the start. While the episode isn’t action oriented, the story is fast paced and sets the tone for the rest of the season. The writers of Fringe are not afraid to rock the boat in their sophomore year and they make drastic changes in Fringe division. One member questions their sanity and one says goodbye (actually they didn’t get to say goodbye). On top of this, a new agent named Amy Jessup (who seems a bit obsessed with the Holy Bible) is added into the mix. On top of that, there is a new baddie that is right on their tail and has a interest in what’s in Olivia’s head. It the first episode of this new season is any indication of whats to come, it is going to be one nutty ride. If you didn’t watch the first season (shame on you), start watching NOW.
Oh did I mention that there is a typewriter that sends transmissions to another dimension? BOOYA!
